Crewsaver Pet Life Jacket

We have had several different dog preservers over the last 30 years of our cruising careers. The Crewsaver models are, in our opinion, by far the best. They have positive snap fittings---no velcro here--- and the adjustments are very good. Unlike other dog preservers we have tried, the Crewsavers seem to have been able to provide a good fit over a much wider range, for each model (we have had mediums and larges) than other brands. This is true for both different dogs (ranging from 25 to 65 pounds) and different weights as a dog ages (a dog who weighs 45 pounds in his/her prime may well go down to the low 30's in his/her teens). They provi de the best support under the dogs when you use the preservers as "suitcase handles" to lift a dog up/ down to a fixed dock or into a dinghy.
