Slazenger Sxi Classic Protege

it is a great bat unfortunetly mine snapped .... had it for 2 years

What a bat! I hit a few boundaries with the Slazenger Sxi Classic Protege last season with this bat. I love it and will hopefully continue to play well with it. When you hit the sweet-spot, guaranteed boundary. A nice weight for me as well, not too heavy not too light. The bat has increased my confidence alot, i would never try a sweep before this bat and now i will often sweep the ball for 4:D I recommend the SXI Classic for growing players who just need that extra boost! Nice weight, massive bow, powerful, play shots with confidence. Grip is awful (very slippery) - I got a new grip, the octopus one (very good)Stickers come off rather easilyMy toe guard fell off

Great bat just a shame my batting isn't im a bowler but overall a good bat

The Slazenger Sxi Classic Protege is a good cricket bat. I find it to be strong and firm and im confident that it will help me score well and improve my game. A good all rounder, like me.

The slazenger Sxi Classic is a fantastic bat for a beginner to cricket, it puts an awful lot of power behind your stroke to hit more 6's and 4's. It gives a great boost of confidence to the younger player and is aesthetically pleasing. The tec fibre which people associate with poorer quality bats is great and does not at all make this bat feel cheep. The tec-fibre improves performance and helps prevent surface cracks, but unfortunately stops the cherries of the ball showing, so you can't show off the bat to others on what great shots you have played! There will be quite a few of them also!However, The Slazenger sticker adhesive is a bit of a let-down, when oiling your bat in places you can, the stickers tend to peel off around the corners, which is really irritating.On the whole i would recommend this bat to anyone who wants a trusted brand and bat to play cricket with 9/10
