I Have The Tim O'connor Version Of The Habitat Ker

I have the Tim O'Connor version of the Habitat Kerry Getz Fabric and Thread. The fabric and thread series are no longer made but it uses the Hemp Ply Construction, which is a thin sheet of hemp ply woven in between the plys for added striength and stiffness. A current series for this would be the Land of Lore series by Habitat. This board is the best I've ever had. The pop is amazing and hasn't worn down at all not even when the tail gets smaller!. The nollie/fakie pop is the same way! The concave is wonderful, has nice curves and the nose has a lot more concave then the tail so it's easier to flick tricks and pull up your ollies. Also it has a a very nice middle type concave as in nice curves, so you have way more control than usual. The weight, is extremely light, so you don't have to go crazy trying to get it in the air, very very light! The strength I also give a 10, I thought I broke off the nose a couple of times but I merrily got very tiny pressure cracks! And is also very hard to get them as well! I recommend this board to anyone from beginner to pro levels, because tricks are easy to learn on this board and they are also easy to do period if you've already learned them! I'll probably skate Habitat Hemp plys forever, unless they stop making them. If you don't already have one, get one as your next board and you shouldn't be disappointed. If this board was a sandwich I would gain at least 5 lbs (review has to be factual, so I can't put much more weight.....) a day from eating it so much! Well I hope this helped you decide on getting a brand new board!

I Bought This Habitat Kerry Getz Fabric And Thread

I bought this Habitat Kerry Getz Fabric and Thread skateboard from Skatewarehouse online about 2 months ago for 53 bucks. When I first got it, I was pshyced becasue it had a layer of hemp built in it. I started to skate it, and I wasnt impressed with the strength. It seems like every time I would ollie, it would bow. I also didnt like the shape, the tail was smalled and less concaved than the nose, not my style. Within a month, there was a 4 ply crack, till the hemp, and a chip on the tail from bailing harsh from a tail slide. But about 3 days ago, I was skating it in my garage, trying to land full 360's and I landed on the tail too hard. It exploded. Hemp and wood went flying all over the place. I guess if you like the idea of hemp in your skateboard, buy it. But otherwise, dont put up the money.
