Es Koston 4's

I'm a friend of streetballskater and wanna give a brief review on the eS Koston 4. First of all this shoe is really good for skate. i recommended to those who just started skateboarding,its because it has great durability because of TPR around the toes. The best part is when you attempt a kickflip, you don't need much energy because the TPR makes flipping the board easily. The most important is the shoes really comfortable because it contains EVA, for example when you attempt an ollie over 5 stairs, it cushions your landing so you wont get injured. About the shoe laces, the Koston 4 feature nylon hidden lace loops that protect your shoe laces. So you don't have to buy another shoe laces...YEAH....the price 130 dollars and it doesn't suit the shoe, because it out of style. Some certain people look like clown wear these shoes. Overall i recommend this shoe if the shop has a sale, its real damn good try it....you will not disappoint yourself..people that only want to skate and want comfortable, buy this shoe.....peace no war....

This shoe is quite controversial to some people. Some like it and some don't. Well I'm not siding on anyone right now but I'm gonna tell my experience skating the Koston 4's. First of all the toe cap did throw some of my friends off but to me i only cared about the durability of the shoe. They looked like they would fall apart on my first ollie seeing that the vital areas of the shoe are glued together but they held up well. The toe cap stood the test of time and lasted me a good four months and it hasn't even worn through yet. Another thing is that some people say that these shoes looked like basketball shoes (too much actually) i think that Koston designed it that way cos he plays a lot of basketball too and this shows through his shoes from the 2nd Koston till the 5th. I personally like this shoe a lot cos i can skate and then ball without having to change my kicks and i bought these for around 30$ and its well worth the money. You can't find these shoes anymore because Koston doesn't ride for eS anymore but if you do find them buy them if your looking for a multi sports shoe. I recommend the K4 to anyone who skates and plays basketball a lot.

Es Koston 4's are almost as bad as the K 5s. They look like basketball shoes, I don't find them comfortable, but I have to admit that they skate nice but its really not worth it.

I've had the Es Koston 4's shoes for just about 5 months, I'm sick and tired of them, they don't grip properly, and the toe cap looks really disgusting. The only reason I bought these shoes was because Eric Koston is my favourite skater ever and I have had 3 pairs of his shoes and 2 pairs of accels. BTW accels rule to the max!!!

The Es Koston 4's are amazing. I got them on sale at my local skateshop (KRUDCO.) for $35, but they were originally $90, and it was probably one of my best investments ever. The toecap and side of the shoes are made of rubber and the rest, leather. For as long as I had these, the toe cap did not rip at all and the ollie area only had a small rip. They have nice grip, but the sole on my push foot wore down faster than I thought they would. you'll only need 1 pair of laces for these because of the lace protection. Bottom line...GET THE K4!

These Es Koston 4 skate shoes are the nicest shoes i have ever had i have had em about 3 months and there isnt even a sign of wear and if u all think i am some grom who skates weak i aint i have skated these on 3 new decks and they are still fine and i skate hard i reckomend these to anybody
