This Was The First Belay Plate I Bought A Couple O
This was the first Belay plate i bought a couple of years ago. The trouble with it is that it sticks continuously forcing you to thread rope through. I have trapped my hands got tied up and in all manner of problems with this. The only time it comes into it's own is when your are belaying someone VERY heavy - but slim climbers or children forget it!
