Best Crossbow You'll Ever Buy
I took a Barnett Quad 300 and 400 on trade and by far the 300 sticks in my target farther and hits the target faster than the 400. I use Gold Tip carbon bolts and 125 gr. Magnus Stingers and I can use the 20 yd reticle on my scope at 60 yds and hold the same grouping same spot from 20-60 yds. At 80 I use the 40 yd reticle and it still drives in my bow target just as far. I laugh at people who blow thousands on what they call quality. The 300 is by far the most accurate, fastest, and hardest hitting crossbow I've ever shot or owned. I have less than $200 in my 300 and will gladly shoot for money against any compound or xbow. I haven't attempted a 100 yd shot yet but fairly confident it would go where I pointed and still drive into the target.

This Thing Is Awesome. Today I Shot A Doe At 75 Ya
This thing is awesome. Today i shot a doe at 75 yards. and it hit her like a ton of bricks. she didnt even take a step. just collapsed. I inherited this bow from my stepdad who passed on and im telling you....if you can get your hands on one...you got it made. I highly recommend a 100 grain 3 blade broadhead. i have found that anything any heavier will make the bolt do funny things.
You need to be a better shot with a better xbow.
shooting a deer at 75 yards is foolish, and not responsible at all, a good hunter would not take a shot a 75 yards.

You Cant Eat A Target, But Every Deer I Shot At Wi
You cant eat a target, but every deer I shot at with my Quad 300 I have hit where I wanted. A little common sence goes along way, like all mechanical equiptment you must look at it every now and then and tighten or adjust things. If your the type that need to spend allot of money to make you a better hunter do not buy a Barnett, let them on the shelf for me.
I will put my Barnett Quad 300 up against any crossbow at a realistic hunting range shot shooting at vitals and have money left over to buy the guy that spent allot for his crossbow a beer so he can continue to justify the money he spent for his.

Solid Hitting Bow That Can Handle Most Anything It
Solid hitting bow that can handle most anything it is aimed at. I trust this Barnett Quad 300 crossbow and it has the reliability to hold true when you release the bolt. Mine is equipped with a (longhorn) scope and laser locating system.I am disabled so it allows me an equalizer and the last hit was a 9 point, that field dressed at 218. The big one fell 20 feet from the hit,

I didnot like the Barnett Quad 300 crossbow. I found it to be unreliable, not accurate and I think it just needs to be a bit stirdier.
I really would not recomend it, there are loads of better ones on the market.

Six Bolts In A Group Less Than 2 1/2 Inches @ 60 Y
Six bolts in a group less than 2 1/2 inches @ 60 yards. You better invest in an excellent target to be able to stop the bolts out to 80 yards. I use a Black Hole target that I removed the bands from and now I use a ratchet strap to create enough force to stop the bolts. They will go through 4 bails of straw with ease. With most bows, you would need to aim at the bottom of a Deer's chest. They tend to dip down before they launch into a run. My first buck taken @ 50 plus yards with this bow, never had a chance to do much of anything. It hit exactly where I aimed and with a 1 1/4 inch tri-blade broad head it left a hole big enough to put a ping pong ball through it. I have shot other brands and they don't even come close to these results. The last three seasons, the guns stayed home, the whole season.
Q&A
I'm missing cable slide: any idea where I can get one?
What is the fps on this bow?
A friend gave me a Barnett 300 Crossbow. How do I determine the arrows length and weight?
I have a Barnett Quad 300 Crossbow. How long is the string I need? I have no information on this. I just have the name and that's it, no serial number and no ID number. I'm puzzled can you help me? Totally stumped! Thank you.
