Gt300r Battery Is Just Not Man Enough For The Job.

I've had my ProTrolley GT300R for 2 years now and it's pretty awful to be honest.

The main complaint is the battery doesn't even last 18-holes on my relatively flat local course. I sent the original battery back about a year ago - they said it was only working at 60% and did send me a free brand-new one. But I'm still getting the same problem; It lasts 15 or 16 holes OK, then dies very quickly. I often have to push the trolley up the last 2 or 3 holes = inconvenient & embarrassing!

Other problems I had with it:

About the 3rd time I used it, the rear stabiliser wheel snapped off on the weld.

I have now had TWO main wheels just snap and break (the 3 spoke versions)- they were not strong enough (I see ProTrolley have discontinued these in favour of stronger 5 spoke wheels now).

The remote control sometimes stops working at 10m or so away = running after trolley or it crashes = embarrassing!

The buttons to make the trolley run 10, 20 or 30m stopped working.

The top bag support is too "floppy" and the bag leans over to one side.

I would NEVER recommend anyone buy any product from ProTrolley.

i agree that i wouldnt recommend the pro trolley gt300r to anyone having had much the same problems. i am on my second battery which is not new but a good as new replacement ,why i wasnt offered a new one i dont know ,apperently my original charger was faulty and burnt out the original battery , there was a recall notice on the original chargers due to them being faulty , a recall notice which i never recieved . i had the charger replaced and used the ,good as new battery , but alas the problem remained and the battery still didnt last a full 18 holes . recently the power switch on the handle works when it feels like , so when the battery in the remote runs very low or runs out i ended up pulling the wheels out to try and use it as an ordinary trolley but it was a lot of weight to try and push or pull . maybe i was just unlucky some peoples comments praise the trolley

I Purchased One Of These Online For My Husband In

I purchased one of these online for my husband in January and it did not fail to impress. Like most he is not getting any younger and the strain of carrying a bag was affecting his performance since then he has been coming home a much happier person and his handicap is back down to where he feels it should have been for years! Due to this and the quick delivery service along with the friendly and knowledgeable customer service staff I have recently brought one for my son as well. Definite value for money and I now get Sundays to myself!

Received my trolley in April. Delivery was exceptionally fast and everything was included. The trolley has now been used on average once per week and it has performed very well.

On one occasion I called the support staff, who were very helpful. The advise cured the problem and everything has been fine since. Have recommended it to friends and family.

Bought Mine In March 2009 With A 32ah Battery. Sin

Bought mine in March 2009 with a 32Ah battery. Since then I've had replaced a control switch, two gearboxes, two wheels, three 32Ah batteries (the third one I had to pay again but discounted)and I had to reinforce the top bag support bracket as the tubing to which it's attached allows the bag to roll over. After sales service is good but as you can see I've certainly had to use it.

Q&A

I have owned a ProTrolley GT300R since 2009, the control module has failed. I managed to source another control module from a spares website but when I unwrapped it appeared to be second hand hence when I fitted it to the trolley surprise surprise it didn't work.

I was told have I programmed it correctly? I am not using the remote control unit only the controls on the handle, I assumed you do not have to. Is this correct?

Your gratefully
