ParMotion VeKaddy

I purchased a VeKaddy in the spring of 2011, and was told it was last year's model. I chose this company based on the 5 year warranty - I guess you can offer a 5 year warranty if you don't respond to any service requests!

The unit is actually a neat design, and folds up really well. However, it is very poorly manufactured - most of the plastic parts are poorly fit. The rear wheels are soft rubber, which is great, but the front wheel is hard plastic, making it extremely noisy. You cannot control the speed going down hills, so you need nerves of steel. The straps for the bag are made of surgical tubing, and only lasted three "rounds" and I had to replace with bungy cords.

Worst of all, my "new" battery only lasts 12 holes on a full charge, which would have been great in the 1600s when courses were 12 holes, but it's not so great when I have to get the maintenace guys to cart it back to the clubhouse.

I have emailed and phoned my sales rep repeatedly, and have received no responses. Buyer beware!

My review is about PARMOTION, not the Vekaddy. I contacted Parmotion last fall for parts to a different electric trolly that they had assumed distribution rights for. After speaking to a company representative, I ordered a number of repair parts for the trolly and paid via PayPal. As it was near the end of golf season, I wasn't concerned when the parts did not arrive promptly. They still had not arrived 48 days later. I emailed and telephoned but got absolutely no response from Parmotion regarding my order. I then contacted PayPal and was told they will not reverse charges after 45 days and that my only recourse was with Parmotion directly. It has now been over 6 months and they still refuse to respond to any of my calls or emails. If this is the kind of customer service you can expect, I would never consider purchasing anything they had and will tell everyone I know to stay away.

I LOVE IT!! ParMotion VeKaddy is beautiful and the service was excellent. My questions before I order were answered right away and my order shipped the next day.

It has lots of power, great style, quality is clearly evident as soon as it comes out of the box. Folds and unfolds in literally 3 seconds... unbelievable!!

I get many compliments on its looks... including my name plate (a nice touch of class) The ONLY weakness with it is the hand held remote, but it has apparently already been changed...

This is a great caddy... I would never be without it.

Very solid. I returned another cart I had just bought before I saw this one. The ParMotion VeKaddy is dead quiet. Got a good deal at the golf show... same as online deal. 420 a battery is nice and the unfolding is great. Could not be easier.

Maybe too heavy for some, but not really a big problem. Some accessories not offered yet.

I agree... if they market this thing right it WILL sell. They apparently already have acouple of new models in the works.

The ParMotion VeKaddy is new, but is the best caddy out there. Unbelievably easy to use, very rugged and a totally excellent style. You can't get a better remote golf caddy then this, especially with its guarantee. I know. I've used Lectronic and Robo... this has then beat This company is doing everything right to get their name out there as a reliable Canadian Motorized golf caddy company. Good Luck to them!

Used it for the last half of 2008, before it was even being promoted... not ONE problem. Remote is a little big, but the new remote is beautiful.

A beautiful design with great colors, a great guarantee and it even includes a personal name plate. No bad points about the ParmMotion VeKaddy, but a little heavier. But this is because it is so solid$1500, still less than other good golf caddies
