Out Door Freedom For Disabled Gardener.

I was bought this as a mobility aid. i am disabled (multiple sclerosis) and had been having trouble getting round my 1.5 acre garden.

The electrokart is fantastic and I can see all my garden. It is very stable and copes perfectly with uneven terrain. It is possible to lean and weed using a weeder.

I have been to visit other gardens! I now know what people are talking about.

We have the optional lithium battery which is lighter than the lead acid batteries. The kart breaks down easily and re-assembles quickly.

I have the luxury seat with arms which gives me greater confidence and comfort.

I can now take my dogs out on my own!

The sales staff were helpful and gave an accurate description over the phone. He was very aware of my needs.

The kart is not suitable for shopping but we were ibformed of this.

I Have Had 2 Of These Buggies Since 2001. The Late

I have had 2 of these buggies since 2001. the latest was bought 3 yrs ago. The main problem is that the gearboxes keep failing. I have the more robust model with larger motors and gearboxes however I am fed up having to replace the gear boxes at over £200 a time not including fitting. This is the only weakness that I have found. The other problem is finding an agent to service or repair the item. I live in Scarborough North yorkshire and the nearest agent is over 80 miles away. Other users with cheaper makes have no trouble on the same golf course?

I Love The Design Of This Buggy For Its Simplicity

I love the design of this buggy for its simplicity, I had the previous version for 5 years and got great value out of it.

The new version appears to have addressed the issues with the old one having bigger motors and stronger gearboxes, however they have not uprated the batteries and I cannot get 18 holes in heavy winter conditions (I am on my third set of batteries in 2 years). The factory do not reply to e-mails but fortunately I am quite practical and am currently modifying the buggy to carry a third battery.

Seriously considering moving to a petrol buggy if that doesn't work.

I Had A Lighter Weight Golf Buggy Which Was Not Re

I had a lighter weight golf buggy which was not really strong eneogh for me. This machine is much more stable though bigger than before. I have had no trouble since buying machine 6 months ago. I load it into a luggage trailer so do not take apart. I would not like to take apart to fit in car boot as batteries are very heavy and I am 70+. It gives me 18 holes no problem, even one 7000 yards and still had lots of power to spare. Would recommend to anyone. I used it for 2 weeks before buying. I LIKED IT, BOUGHT IT.

I have an Electrokart buggy fitted with PBQ 75-12X Batteries and since it's purchase in May 2008 it has struggled to get round a comparatively short 18 hole course with slight inclines without running out of power I cannot believe that people are satisfied with this buggy, are my batteries at fault or the wrong power ?

The seat gives the sensation of swaying from side to side when on traverse inclines and I feel insecure. Has anyone else experienced this? I am a tall heavily built gentleman. Buggy only 2 months old and so far little used.

Anybody tried to fit one in a c class coupe?

ronniekerr

When batteries are fully charged and I switch on the ign and turn the pot twist grip all the lights on the indicator go out and leave on the last two red ones. The buggy will not move. What should I do?

Is it possible to lift the Electrokart with an electric hoist in the car?

nicholas.bowman

My electrokart has started to make very high squealing noises when being operated. Has anybody had this happen to them? It seems to come from the left side motor or wheel.

In the video, I saw one of the carts with a front basket. Must I order this as an accessory?
