The Macgregor NGV2 Mac Tec has great flexibility and distance control

I play the Macgregor NVG2 Tour - stiff Fujikura Speeder. I absolutely love this driver. The cup face enlarges the sweet spot which truly helps the off-center hits. The clubface is one degree open, which works very well with my normal draw. The Quadra action shaft gives me a few more miles per hour because of the loading and releasing, but the low torque ensures the closing of the head. MacGregor did an excellent job matching this club head and shaft. I bought the MacGregor MT 460 9.5 degree stiff Aldila DVS last year. I believe I hit the NVG2 Tour lower and get better distance because of that. The craftmanship in both drivers is absolutely top notch.

Good distance and Draw version corrected my natural fade and gave a very good flight and carry.

Low handicap friend of mine bought a Tour version and hits his a country mile, has the 3 wood and 4 utility as well.

Would recommend to anyone - try one before buying a more popular (and expensive) brand such as Taylor Made or Callaway.

I am able to get distance and control that I could not get with my previous club. THe Macgregor NGV2 has changed my game off the tee.

nvs2 9.5 stiff . This is a sleeper club for the budget golfer who wants to take advantage of end of season deals.

I've had trouble with drivers for years - a club I could never feel comfortable with, and that includes Callaways et al. Traded in my 460 Big Bertha, and frankly, the best move I've ever done (in golf terms of course!).

Very 'soft' off the club face and doesn't provide a powerful feel. Stiff doesn't feel that stiff. Go for a lower loft than 10*HT. (which I understand is in fact 12*.

I feel it's a good club but not remarkable its not the prettiest driver out there. I would really suggest you hit one before buying.
