I Couldn't Believe How Good This Pilkington Mk 4 K
I couldn't believe how good this Pilkington MK 4 Kite (gen 3) sight was when I first tried one. 3rd Gen tube made all the difference, especially at longer ranges/distances, when mainly using sight for identifying quarry/objects, etc. When my partner tried mine, he went straight out and bought one (muttering about Eastern Bloc rubbish or something).
yer great scope pit no dioptre adjustment. would be even better with a pinnicle tube in it?
Gen 3 with 1000hr tube life? thats strange, gen 3 is usually 10000hr! hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised when it keeps going!

The Pilkington Mk 4 Kite Scope Is Currently In Use
The Pilkington MK 4 Kite scope is currently in use with the British army and special forces throughout the world. It is regarded as the best night vision scope that money can buy.
From the moment you pick up this scope, you can tell your dealing with a quality item that has been designed for shooting by snipers in warfare
The 4x optics are simply outstanding and having owned some of the best night vision equipment that is available to civilins, I can honestly say that nothing else that i've seen even comes close in terms of optics and quality.
This however comes at a price of ..Wait for it ...nearly five grand.
Is it worth it ? to me yes, I have shot over 250 foxes in the past two years and I wouldn't like to say how many rabbits its been responsible for.
I would say if you want the best and your six numbers have just come up, then add it to your shoping list.
At the price and only Gen 3, it is very average! Try the OIP Sensor System IRBIS 6 and see what a night vision sniper scope really is.
I have a Pilkington Kite mk.4 - I found it in a box when my uncle passed away - looks like its never been used. If anyone is interested e-mail me at [email protected].
Maybe , a friend of mine who used to be a gamekeeper mentioned that he may sell his kite as he no doesn't get chance to use it much.
I your interested I can ask him for you, but second hand ones are rare and are well sort after so they are still expensive, probably over 2 grand.
Hope this helps.
do you have any ideas where i could get a sencond hand one from mate? cheers
