Poor Grip And Don't Appear To Be Hard Wearing. Not
Poor grip and don't appear to be hard wearing. Not bad comfort but nothing like other boots I've worn in the past. To be frank, I'll all but given up on North Face equipment - it's totally overrated and far too expensive. You pay for the label not the quality.

I Bought A Pair Of North Face Men's Ultra 104 Xcr
I bought a pair of North Face Men's Ultra 104 XCR boots around five years ago. Not sure what model they are but they've always been comfotable and waterproof (Goretex).
The big problem is with the grip - or lack of it. They are slippy in mud and on wet stone and worse than a pair of wellies when it's icy. I thought that I had learned to live with it until last week when I forgot and slipped on a damp boulder. The result was a night in hospital with a broken rib and a punctured lung.
Now looking for a new pair with good grip for when I can get out again.
