Magnum Panther 8.0

-The Magnum Panther-.

The newest boot to have been released by the company, the Panther is brilliant and great value for money. I was looking to buy boots that would act as walking boots for lengthy dog walks, and smart yet comfortable boots that would provide me with a boot I could wear on parade, as a cadet and for field use. I bought size nine's, one higher than my normal size because boots tend to be quite tight, and to allow for growth.

-Comfort-

The Panther is very comfortable over moderate distances, the boot itself is made of flexible materials; very soft, durable leather for the most part and partial strips of nylon, to give it flexibility. The outsole is composed of tough plastic. However, the stage at which it starts to get slightly uncomfortable is over very long stretches, if there is even the slightest space in the boot for movement, the friction will cause heat to build up and in my case, a few blisters. Of course, it is in the nature of a boot of this kind to be quite hard on the feet, and in a short space of time, my feet had hardened and the boot was perfect.

-Style-

5/5 definitely, as I opened the box i was stunned laying them on the table to see such beauty in a boot, the craftmenship gone into it is amazing. For me, smartness also was key, and this boot is perfect for parade use as its chic black appearence is good enough for any inspection.

-Value for Money-

The comfort and style matches that, not only of similarly priced magnums but those with prices ranging into the low hundreds, it is very well priced at fifty pounds and is the obvious choice for anyone. Occupying the lower end of the market, it is leagues above the others, namely the normal british army assault boot and older magnums such as the classic's.

-Conclusion-

Overall the Magnum Panther is a bargain boot for anyone, its low price and unbelievable comfort and style is all you will ever need in a boot.
