Do not give this company your credit card. I signed up with the DC branch of The Fitness Company for a two-month membership over the winter months, paid up front with my VISA bank card and they took my number without my permission and proceeded to charge my account every month until they went out of business. I contacted the main company in NJ when I found out and they just gave me the run around. They would not pull my contract to confirm my claim nor did they refund the $441.00 that they overcharged. I get the impression that this may be business as usual. Be careful!
