Spirit Health Clubs is located in Belfast city centre. Too expensive for gym facilities on offer. I am an existing member and know that I pay £10 more than new members but staff refuse to offer lower rate to resign a new contract.

Seems that classes often cancelled without prior notice (often waiting outside class room for up to 15 mins before they tell you).

It can be very overcrowded from 4pm onwards with people queueing for machines.

Recently started to have LARGE numbers of students joining.

I joined soley because of the excellent water aerobics class with an exceptionally good teacher and a pleasant warm small but luxurious women's changing room. Previously one had been able to pay on a one off lesson basis but he manager made it compulsory to join th club. I paid out for a year because I thought it was worth it.

My class time has been changed with no warning by a manager who has moved us to accommodate the choice of time of the waterbabies organisation. We didn't know till we found ourselves double booked with the babes in arms surrounding us and being changed all over the floor so it was hard not to tread on them. Our teacher hadn't been informed either. It is an appalling way to treat us, and not too good for the waterbabies either.
