This Is The Worst Gym I Have Ever Stepped Into On
This is the worst gym I have ever stepped into on multiple fronts:
1. Their contract is a trap, it is pathetic that they make money by not letting peopl easily cancel. You have to a certified letter to cancel...for pete's sake, it is my money and I can cancel whenever I want.
2. The gym is dirty, stinks...they do not provide small amentities of wipes or water in the gym
3. Equipments are old and not working most of the time.
There are multiple other better options than this junk. By the way, I am still trying to end my membership for a month now.

I've Been Going To Bally's For 17 Years, And Hav
I've been going to Bally's for 17 years, and have had no complaints until recently. I was using the butterfly machine , when the steel pin came loose and the arm extension crashed into my forehead, resulting in an injury requiring a trip to the hospital, and 5 stitches to close the wound. Ballys has just informed me that they will not accept responsibility for the medical expenses incurred, claiming that members use the equipment at their own risk. In other words if I'm foolish enough to use a defective machine, I deserve what I get. I'm in the process of contacting the appropriate state consumer and safety agencies .So if you are considering joining this club, ask specific questions about product safety ,

I Joined Bally's In February, And Canceled In May.
I joined Bally's in February, and canceled in May. The weight room was unorganized, overcrowded, and cluttered. The staff was impersonal and treated us like strangers. I joined 24 hour fitness and am very happy. This is what a gym should be like. Bally's might have a famous brand, but they truly suck.
Ending A Contact With Ballys Appears To Be Next To
Ending a contact with Ballys appears to be next to impossible, for me anyway. I relocated to a new country for work three months ago and my account is STILL being charged despite the fact I gave ample proof that i was moving "outside of the Bally zone" before I left. Now, from 5,000 miles away (I'm currently in Argentina), I have to resubmit everything in order to close my account. Several friends warned me about signing a contract, I was too dazzled by the seemingly good deal in the beginning. Lesson learned, hope others don't make the same mistake!

For the price ($30/month as a new member), its worth it. NYSC a few blocks away wanted $90/month as a new member for fewer gyms and options. Plus you can pay ALL CASH (no CC required), a big plus.

They had an amazing varieties of workouts availible, and a daycare with a playground for children, but it was a bit pricy.
