This is a hybrid commuter cycle designed to be easy to use and require minimal maintenance. It therefore comes equipped with rack, mudguards, chain guard, and importantly hub gears and roller brakes. The hub gear should require little or no maintenance, and being sealed does not require regular cleaning and lubrication. Similarly, the roller brakes are sealed units, require nothing more than a biannual injection of grease, and unlike more common rim brakes are effective in all weathers. The 7 speed gears are smooth and effective, and the hub gear allows shifting even when stationary - very useful at traffic lights.

Overall this bike is very good value for money, especially if your prime considerations are ease of use, low maintenance and good reliability.
