I was visited by a very pleasant, knowledgable advisor initially who surveyed my property, explained everything in detail. Creating a very detailed proposal and forecast for the suitability and efficacy of Solar panels on my home - 9 PV panels and 5.8kwh Battery. Two of the installers came to do a further survey which addressed a couple of the more site specific needs. On the first day the scaffolders came to set up, also very friendly guys, quick and efficient. The installers came the next day, 3 lovely men who, again, explained exactly what they were going to be doing at all stages. They worked quietly and very tidily, scaffolders returned the next day as it was a 2 roof installation and once again they were great. The 2nd installation day there were 4 installers. They were pleasant to have around and once again left the place spick and span; once they had finished I sat with one of them who talked me through what they had done and introduced me to the App and how to use it. I was also contacted several times on the phone to check up that all was well and on track. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Planet Solar to my friends and family. Thank you!

We have always wanted solar power, as it seemed a better way forward for the planet. We have researched over several years and finally took the plunge. It ended up as a more straightforward process than we thought. There were a few snags, with the figures offered and the design mismatched the delivery! Everything was surmounted and the team worked with us, resolved everything and we ended up with a system we are very pleased with. We are glad we had it fitted before winter because it took much longer to get onto the grid than we expected. I thought it was instant, but it took 3 months. We had to wait for a document from the provider, and then the supplier took ages to swap tariffs. However we have it now, and already getting a small amount of power even in the winter! We are actually excited about the spring and cannot wait to see more savings.

The installation was prompt and both the scaffolders and electricians were very friendly and professional. This has been a positive investment and is highly recommended.

So far so good. Solar panels installed two days ago The scaffolders were polite, clean and quick. Has already been dismantled and you would never know anything has been done. The solar panel guys were so lovely. Arrived as promised. Kept us informed at every step of the installation. Everything has been left clean and tidy. Project Solar have done the same. Kept us updated at every stage. There have been several call since, to make sure we know the next step and ensuring we are happy with everything. We are now in the process of moving over to Octopus energy and even they were very helpful and reassuring. This process has gone like a dream. Project Solar were really helpful with the initial consultation and once the works were agreed the contractors turned up punctually and were polite. Overall a very easy installation and good after care along with prompt delivery of all the post installation certificates.

I like the App - it is very easy to use and see at a glance what is being generated and where it is going - house, batteries or grid. We needed to have a smart meter installed to be able to take advantage of the tariffs available, I would have liked to have known the physical size of the meter as we had run out of space in our meter box and needed some other switches moved out before it could be installed. They give you all the advice you need before you commit. Their surveyor came round and was great in terms of the advice he gave. It was not a hard sell. In fact, we never felt like we were being sold to really. He explained the technology and how it worked, also the money side of things. We ended up getting a 75% loan, which we can pay off as quickly as we want after the first two months which is good. The scaffolders took literally 2 hours (we are a bungalow) and the installation team came the next day and were gone in 5 hours, having put up the panels, sorted the new meter box, put in the batteries and explained how the app works. The day after that we received a call explaining what next steps were needed to get onto the correct Octopus tariff to take advantage of the new system. That's all still going through but so far I have to say the service has been really top notch.

Me and my partner had been looking into ways to improve our carbon footprint and save money at the same time. Project Solar UK have been amazing from the Sales rep who came out to our home and explained how everything worked to the install date which was a quick turn around. We are already seeing the reduction in our bills and having the app to show us how much energy the solar panels are providing is a useful addition to have. The team behind the scenes are great and easy to deal with and sort any queries out fast. If you are looking for a professional UK based company who manufacture here in the UK these are the guys to use. I would say the only issue we faced was with the scaffolding company but the Project Solar team was right behind us and got everything sorted ASAP.
