Pines and Needles Christmas Tree

This has been my first experience with Pines & Needles. I

came across their website through a Google search and was comforted by

the fact that you have a shop in my local park i.e. Richmond Park.

Through exploring their sight, my expectations of their products and

services were set. As such, I chose to purchase a tree with the

standard delivery service. Information on their website ensured that my

tree would be kept in water and trimmed so that I would not have to do

so. The standard delivery service also entailed delivery by a man in a

kilt, text notification and tracking service, as well as assurance that I would be

able to inspect the tree upon delivery. I am utterly shocked and highly

disappointed by their false advertising. I did not receive a text nor was I able to track my delivery as advertised as part of the

service I paid for. After waiting from 8am, the delivery man arrived at

around 4.30pm. The delivery man was not dressed in a kilt, nor did he

give me an opportunity to inspect the tree as advertised as part of the service I paid for. He was in and out like flash of lightening! Upon inspection of the tree it was apparent that the tree had not recently been trimmed as the base of the bark was bone dry and little shoots had grown which I had to trim myself of course the information on their website assured me that this would have been done.

As I unfortunately do not possess a saw, I was unable to trim the base myself and as such, the tree has not been taking water. In addition,

the top section of the tree is particularly dry and brown. In summary, I am very disappointed with their service and my entire experience with Pines & Needles. They should not advertise products and services which

you do not intend to meet or uphold. They only responded to my complaint on 2nd January 2017 without any explanation! We will not purchase from them again nor will we recommend them.

After using this company last year we placed another order with them about 4 weeks ago for delivery on 17th. On 17th they did indeed turn up but with a completely different tree to what we had ordered and no apology!!! Just that they did not have what we had ordered so thought they could fob us off with something we had not ordered. My partner spent the best part of the day trying to get the issue resolved but at 4pm that day Pines and Needles said they could not make any delivery to us until Christmas Eve and effectively blamed us for not taking the tree they offered in the first place.

I have never ever experienced such bad customer service and certainly will never ever use this company again.

Not a cheap tree. Purchased from Highgate branch on 13th December and embarrassingly dry & dead by Christmas. £50 badly spent.

Another great tree from Pines and Needles this year. Was really happy with the driver who was so patient as I tried to decide where my tree would look best. I am very pleased with the end result, and have already had some great feedback from friends and family. Can't recommend this company enough!

I manage to get a beautiful Xmas tree at the Bricklane shop at a convenient price.

Abid the guys who advised us was very helpful and patient (good customer service is always a plus)

I ordered a tree for delivery yesterday from a nice helpful guy at Greenwich Park store and it didn't arrive. I rang this morning and was told it would be investigated and would receive a return call.

No call back

Rang again just before 5 as hadn't heard anything, dialled 2 as prompted for existing orders, wasn't answered and eventually I was cut off. I rang again and dialled 1 for Sales which was answered immediately. Cynical practice!

I was eventually told named person I spoke to this morning couldn't remember speaking to me (?) and after a fuss and a return call eventually told that it will be delivered tonight between 8 and 8.30 p.m. Am waiting to see.

They have grown took big too quickly and are over confident.

I HAVE LOST TWO EVENINGS TO THIS AND BARELY AN APOLOGY AND HAVE BEEN SENT ALL AROUND THE HOUSES ON THE PHONE WITH CLEARLY EMPHASIS BEING ON SALES AND NOT ON AFTERCARE.

Last year I ordered a tree and it was excellent and people commented on its look. This year it is rubbish- bent and broken branches, half as many branches and all folliage looking as is the tree was cut August. We have had to cover the tree with decorations to hide it. Will never use again.

I have used this company several years in a row and they have never disappointed. A beautiful tree delivered each time, on time, by two friendly guys who were so helpful in setting up the tree. Last year we order a gorgeous wreath too. Am very impressed with these guys - totally recommend!

I have ordered a christmas tree through this company, they delivered on time but the tree was damaged with branches missing on one side, it didn't look nice at all and I couldn't fix it in any way. This was the most unbelievable thing - did they not see that the tree was not good? The stand was cheap to the uttermost with plastic screws not fitting in well and very hard to move. I had to throw the tree the same day it was delivered and had to go and buy a replacement. I ended up with a very bad experience. Had to waste my time buying another one, ended up with a large tree when I wanted a small one and most importantly I had to carry the tree all the way home which was precisely what I was trying to avoid by using this company! Never again. Horrible service!

I ordered my first real Christmas tree 2 years ago from Pines and Needles and have been hooked ever since. I was amazed at how little needles te tree dropped in the 4 weeks it was up. (One of the long life trees) Ordering was easy, delivery was on time and setup was quick and hassle free. My order is already in again for this year. Great service. *****
