Do not bother

Unfortunately this equipment was of no use to us at all because the in car charger did not connect properly to the unit. Although the unit was switching on and we were able to programme in our destination, as soon as the unit was attached to the window screen the pull of gravity on the charger meant that the connection became faulty and the unit was not charging up whilst in use and was therefore switching off before we arrived at our destination. When I held the unit and had the charger cable at a certain angle the green light came on and the unit started to charge!
However, this was obviously not ideal because it took two hands to hold the unit and charger at the correct angle so that it would work and the slightest movement had the connection lost again. Plus my husband who was driving was unable to see the unit and it made the whole process unbelievably difficult as well as dangerous. The driver should not have to be looking to his side to a unit held in someone’s lap! I have raised my concerns to Cheapsatnavhire.com and they haven't even bothered to reply to me. The only reason I have given a 1 rating is because I can't give less!
