Excellent Car Very Reliable 2.0tdi Se Dsg
Superb build quality purchased mine with full audi service history, which gave me the confidence to buy it even with 120k on clock. The dsg 6 speed gearbox is superb, also the flappy paddles are a handy piece of kit.
Audi's are generally very reliable cars as my parents also own Audi's so talking from experience, mine is the 3dr modle whi h suits my needs
All in all a pleasure to drive and would highly recommended the dsg over a manual gerbox, had no problems with mine apart from general wear and tear eg tyres.
THUMBS UP!!!!!

This is my second Audi i owned, only had problems with A3 2.0tdi...2005 model.
On 164000k my radiator starts leaks, changed it, then on 165000k my turbo was changed... and now on 181000k my cylinder head is changed....
Very nice car, but expensive...to fix... i will never buy a second hand Audi again....firend got the same car, only 2006 model, gave the same problems...

I have had my audi a3 2.0 tdi sport now for 2 years had 64k on the clock and so far i have had to have the sump re-sealed, new radiator and now a new cylinder head due to all type A heads crack (years 2004-2006) apart from that all in all a nice car.

Looks Good, But Looks Can Be Deceiving... The Audi
Looks good, but looks can be deceiving... The audi a3 is unreliable, the dsg gearbox is juicy and the overall performance is poor. I would much rather have stuck with bmw 330d. I do NOT recommend anyone buys one of these pieces of poo!!!!
DSG improves economy, Iv gone from the s3 to this and have no problems and 45 mpg. Someone that calls a car 'Poo' is not someone I'd listen to anyway.

Great Car Overall,i Love The Style-the Size Is Jus
great car overall,i love the style-the size is just right (3-door)if its just the two of you,i have the dsg gearbox in mine(still not bored with it,really smooth(dont actually feel the gear change, lovely)had car for year and half now.Oh yes...and it does NOT rattle at all(and i hate rattles big time)
My drivers seat isnt right, the easy entry function doesnt reset back to the set position-it seems to float around until i manually reset it by releasing the handle-has anyone else have this problem?? and the seat belt hooks onto the adjuster wheel, yeah you know what i mean!! Dsg gearbox oil change will cost you around £160.00 from Audi.Which has to be set-up/programmed through computer - which most folks dont have at home.
A good car to save for (get a good one with plenty of spec and basically just keep it) mines an Audi A3 2.0 ltr TDI with dsg-and a re-map done for good measure-helps the ecomony and better/safer for overtaking etc. If you want,go for a s-line, prob my next when it comes, they seem to be finished off nicely. A classy car way better than a Golf (which i also like/and had)
Great car -now go and treat yourself and get one!

The Audi A3 2.0 TDI DSG 2.0 TDI is a great car to drive and own. Great build quality with no rattles or squeaks after 20,000 miles. Feels safe & secure. Be prepared for high (ish) service bills and questionable reliability. Would be loathe to own if not under warranty. Expensive to service. A few niggles with engine diagnostic lights. Steering rack replaced due to faulty original part.

Love it. Comfortable interior (leather/alcantra in mine), plenty of driver's position adjustments. Engine pulls all the way through the range.
Good fuel economy, and the DSG is great for both London commuting and when you want to feel a little more involved with the paddles.

I have had my Audi A3 2.0TDi Sport for 12 months, it's a well made and classy car, quick and easy to drive with the DSG gear box. However I also owned a Golf GT TDI which cost less to buy, was equally well built and although it didn't have such an up market interior it was still a premium car. I also think it handled better and had a better ride set up than the A3 which fidgets too much, I have come to the conclusion the extra £4k I paid for the A3 was mainly for the badge. Worse still is the appalling service I receive from Audi, the lack of after sales care and service even responding to a complaint is terrible, given the fantastic reviews Skoda owners give I'll be looking at a Octavia VRs soon.

Great Car All Round - If Only It Would Work.
Great car all round - if only it would work.
Lots of fun to drive, yet economical / practical.
Sexy looking.
But it's been back to the dealership 9 times in 11 months for engine management system faults. Some are blamed on Audi-wide problems (total engine overhaul at 20,000 miles) some are blamed on this car specifically.
Overall dealership a joke (Swindon Audi) and wholly unable to resolve issues.
I'd never buy a car from there again.
But I'd consider this model again from somewhere else.
