I got these ski racks with a bit of skepticism off ebay last season, but bought them because it was so cheap. To my surprise, this ski rack turned out to be the best purchase I made on ebay. Not only did they function exactly as it was described, but as a skier for almost 20 years I never realized the convenience of transporting skis until I used these Eton racks. To think of all the money I spent on various racks from Bic plastic racks to the expensive Thule with all the clips I bought for each of the cars I've owned over the years. I could've just bought this one rack and saved a fortune!
With both the magnet base and the suction cup grabbing onto the roof, these guys just stick like glue! When I first got these I mounted them and shook my car a number of times to see how they held up. At each stop to fill up or to eat, I grabbed on to the rack and shook it with all my strength and the only thing that happened was my car rocked side to side. They just don't wanna budge. Makes you forget about the horror stories of other magnet ski racks flying off the car real quick. These racks aren't even in the same category. When I get to the slopes, take the skis out, flip a lever and a little pull on a ring and it's off. Right into the carrying box and into the trunk. Talk about simple. This is my second season using these ski racks and they work without a glitch. I only wish I got a hold of something like this years ago.

I used Eton racks last season. Jungmanic’s review reflects my experience, too. At $65 including shipping they’re a bargain. You get a better deal on the Eton Ski Rack website than on Ebay.
