Placed an order for a graphics card on a Sunday with a free delivery option (up to 5 days). It arrived the next working day, Tuesday, fantastic. Had to contact customer services over a small query, got a reply and resolution within a couple of hours...faultless. Brilliant first shopping experience with them, I'm sure to use these guys again.

I've bought from Overclock many times in the past. Their prices are average and sometimes have parts that are out of stock elsewhere. We tend to use them as a backup but never again! We have had to return 2 items in the recent past, both graphics cards. The first time it took over a month to get a resolution despite contacting them on numerous occasions. Whatever you ask you just get an anonymous e-mail from 'Returns Dept', never a name. This, in itself, I find unprofessional. This most recent card was sent back as it failed in less than 6 weeks and I expected a quick replacement. From the start they were devious, telling me they didn't receive it for 5 days even though I had proof they had received it in one day. Then they said it had to go back to the manufacturer as it was over 30 days old and they didn't have any stock to replace it with so I just asked for a refund so I could purchase another from elsewhere. That wasn't acceptable to them either telling me they had tested it and couldn't find a fault (why send it to the manufacturers then??). I e-mailed them every couple of days, mostly not hearing anything back at all but if I did it was the standard 'as stated before blah, blah blah - Returns Dept' Had enough now and will never buy from them again. Terrible Customer Service.

I bought all the parts to build a PC from Overclock and was very impressed with the price, delivery and service. I chose the basics for the system but was uncertain of the additional items required (I haven't built a PC for while). I contacted customer support via email, explained what I was doing and asked for them to spec the rest. I received a speedy response with a list of items required (and a couple of price options). The parts were delivered quickly and safely, the parts went together well and I now have a super-fast system. I discovered the CPU was running a bit hot for maximum settings in the bios and again contacted customer service. They gave me some great advice and I have now purchased a bigger CPU fan and heatsink. Very happy with the service from these guys and will continue to buy further items from them.

I purchased an asus EAH6770 graphics card from this store, which was the lowest price i managed to find on the net. The card was delivered promptly with free postage and came with two free games, win win. Good email customer service and would be happy to deal with this company again.

Good delivery service but return department needs a lot of work.Customer service is not that great and the only way you should contact them is by phone.I returned my motherboard to them and after 7 days I did not received a response.Board was sent by recorded delivery and their website shows that they did receive it.I'd suggest using a bigger retailer if you build systems regularly.

Stock listed on website are incorrect. Purchased PC case and then recived an email saying they were out of stock and that they were not sure about when further stock would be available. They then cancelled my order with out asking.

Overclock.co.uk General Review.
Excellent service in ALL Departments.
Customer Service: I especially like the fact that the Customer Service is with friendly staff and not computer automated email replies.
Website: The website is very well made, with logical search options and displays all relevant information in a clear manner, which is extremely useful when you are comparing details of each product.
Products: This brings me onto the description of each product, which is always in depth and full of information that most customers/end users would want (shows Overclock.co.uk understand what is wanted in an end product!).
The variety and range of products is also exceptional, i have never been able to Order ALL the components that i wanted from one site before??
Conclusion: All in all, well done Overclock.co.uk and all Staff involved with this excellent site!

Just ordered from these guys yesterday and my new cpu has arrived bang on time. Its been a while since I have ordered from Overclock (im not a big IT spender), but as they ended up being the cheapest I decided to use them again.
Puts some of the big boys to shame. Highly recommended.

They asked me for several documents to validate my order. I send them the documents but never got anything .. then they cancelled my order.. without any reason. Waited now for about 1 month because of "security validation". I complained but everytime i got pre-redacted e-mails.
Finally.. thats the most ridiculous shop i've ever ordered in, NEVER BUY SOMETHING THERE, you will regret!

First orders can only be dispatched to the cardholders address and if Overclock.co.uk deem that an order has a high chance of been fraudulent despite information provided by the customer, then we will cancel the order and ask that the cardholder address be used as the delivery address.

I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service from Overclock. I had lots of questions and they were always answered by Andrew at customer service, promptly and accurately. I wanted a machine that was custom built and he was able to go through the different options and how much each of them would cost. When I finally placed my order it arrived in less than 2 days to the spec that I wanted and the price was much better than anywhere else. Overall a very good service that I would definitely recommend.

The items are quickly packaged and delivered, they use dpd (interlink) which now gives you a one hour timeslot in which they will deliver. The only problem with this is that DPD don't tell you what 1 hour it is until the hour before they deliver (cheating).
The company is helpful and has some nice rare stock items in, they have another site (by the same company) tekheads.co.uk whch has a much cleaner design and interface (and telephone number!).
But all round a good experiance so far.

No customer service number,only through e-mails which it takes ages to answer
they don't want to refund your money it takes 2 weeks to refund so you have been warned overall not happy and would NOT recommended

The goods were delivered 2 days earlier than I expected so I'm pretty happy with that and after looking around for weeks I found it to be the best value for money.
The only thing I disliked was the Overclock website itself which just seemed a bit counterintuitive, but it worked fine.
I can't really rate the customer service because I haven't really encountered it apart from through order status emails which were helpful but were sent double every time (I suppose that doesn't really matter though), so I'm giving a four.
If you don't mind slogging through a rather big list of computer parts until you find the ones you want, then I'd say overclock.co.uk is a good choice. :)

Ordered a Zamlan VNF100, arrived quickly and in perfect condition...
Overclock was one of very few places with the item in stock and a great price too!
There's not really much more you can ask for from a retailer to be honest :)

Ordered from Overclock extra RAM for my PC - a Micron Rendition 1GB DDR2 PC5300 667MHz.
Received RAM labelled 1GB, but was actually 500MB (wrongly labelled, only realised once installed and checked the PC).
Sent it back, they said they never received it.

This is a problem that should have been easily resolved. All returns are requested to be sent using a recorded delivery service. This is so the situation mentioned above does not occur. Unfortunately once goods have been received, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the returned items arrive back with us. In this case we did not receive the goods, so we were unable to honour the return.

I ordered a new chipset cooler and hard disk drive from Overclock on Friday at 13:39 (according to the email confirmation I received), selected the standard delivery, and both turned up this morning (the following day: Saturday).
Constant email updates coming in to let me know that the order had been placed, picked and despatched, including a tracking reference.
The packaging was a large jiffy bag, so could've been a little better, and would've earned them a 10/10, but I've had to dock them a point for adequate, but not perfect packaging. Still, nothing was damaged, but then I doubt it was in the delivery system for long enough to be damaged. Overclock has an easy to use website. Fast delivery/ Excellent progress updates. Good packaging

Overclock took my order begining of Dec 08 im still waiting for the part they advertised as "in stock".
when i phone to see how there getting on with the order (because they dont contact me) they sound short and uninterested like im bothering them. its now over 6 weeks later and i still havent got a delivery date other than Jan or Feb hopefully?
That and their poor after sales service is the only thing letting them down, which is a shame really, so near.... yet so far away.

Ordered a CPU from overclock.co.uk which arrived within 24hrs despite only using 2-3 day delivery. Had a problem getting my credit card approved and then subsequent double billing but all correspondences were dealt with within half an hour if not immediately and the double billing was sorted straight away. Would definetly use again.

Currently it has been 4 weeks and still have not received my motherboard.I have called them countless times.The only respond I get whenever i get is that the motherboard is at the manufacturer...I had at least 10 rma's from different retailers and not one of them has taken this long.
