Having searched through loads of restaurants in my area. i decided on lakeside oldbury for my 60th. What a welcome from the manager, staff all very attentive n pleasant nothing too much trouble. the food was very good, could,nt believe the price, excellent value for money,very clean and spacious, seating not on top of one another. plenty of room between tables and able to chat without listening or being listened to by other diners. off there again this weekend friends 65th. cant wait. know i have only got to decided on what lovely food im gonna eat...well done lakeside. be back very soon.

we arrived on a week day so it was not too busy. ours start's was hot and tastie and well worth eating and we should of left then. it was my main that was the problem, i ordered fish and chips, when it came it looked very nice, and the chips was very hot. when i got half way into the meal i found the centre of the fish it was not cooked. because i had eaten most of i still had to pay, but we could of had a free pudding.

been there today 27/01/08, a party of 7 people and they had hardly got anything on the menu we spoke to the waitresses and they said it was like that every sunday so i would recommend not to go there
