I've had a pair of Karimoor Cyclone shoes since the summer, as I needed a comfortable shoe suitable for everyday use, with the option to go walking in the country.
The shoes are waterproof covered Suede, with a waterproof membrane and a moulded inner. I was impressed with the waterproof qualities, the water beaded off the suede and unlike leather didn't leave you feet feeling cold.
Around town they were very comfortable and secure on foot, there was no need to "walk in". In the country, I found the grip of the sole unit gave me confidence to stride out.
However after 4 months I noticed the sole had started to wear. Late November the shoes developed a squeak. On investigation I discovered the sole had split! There was heavy wear on the outside of the sole, causing the rubber to split. Thankfully the waterproof membrane has not been punctured.
Walking in snow the shoes are fine, but on ice, there is no grip at all! Not what you'd expect from a shoe, designed for all weathers and all conditions.
