I have found one or two black bits in some of the sachets lately; some of these bits are hard (grit?) and some are insects without legs.
I know that there is likely to be a few brown husks in each sachet, but to have to chase around with a spoon and then to have to fish out the floating foreign bodies, which soon sink when the correct amount of liquid is added, spoils an otherwise good meal.

The box contains 10 sachets it comes in 6 different flavors.
Apple,n,sultana
Cinnamon
Syrup
Apple,n, raisin,n,cranberry
Raspberry
And you can also buy a variety of flavors.
One sachet is not enough for me so i have two it is very easy to make instructions are on the packet if you can read.
Except for the syrup flavor which is already sweet you may have to add some sugar.
You will find it on offer at most supermarkets in the winter months.
If you like porridge you will like this quick and easy nourishing breakfast cereal.

I do find the portion fairly small because I like my breakfast to be the largest meal of the day!
So I add extra plain porridge as it is far less calories and yet the flavour from oatso simple spreads well.

This review applies to the sachets of Quaker Oatso Simple only. 270 grammes for nearly £2. It's just rolled oats, they sell a kilogram for the same price! How can they justify this? And to make things worse, if you want it flavoured you recieve 20 percent less, the world truly has gone mad.
Other than that, a kilo for the same price is worth it as it is quite tasty.

Oatso Simple is a great product for those that don't have the time to whip up their own or always have trouble getting the right consistency however I find the portions too small for me!

Quaker Oatso Simple has a nice taste, easy to microwave, but I think the taste of Apple stays for hours, and hours, and hours.

Quaker Oatso Simple - I have always liked porridge...the problem is it takes a long time to prepare - time I don't have. I am very fussy about what I eat, in fact, Oatso Simple is the only reason I have kept my microwave!

Agreed, complete rip off. But its for people that are way too lazy to measure out their own portions or get all confused about how much to give themselves. Works out as:
Tesco: Per per 50g (Portion) = 3p
Quaker: Per 50g Portion = 55p
1733% more expensive.
