Only if I had negative stars to give. I can never imagine any company so rude, negligent towards there customer. It is the worst estate agents to deal with, it is better to sleep on the roadside rather than renting from them. My husband and I have called and emailed them 3 or 4 times every day to follow up about our moving to a new apartment, but no one bothers to reply back and after 15 days of continuous follow-up agent replies- what update are you looking for? Be very careful with them! Keep a thorough written record of every time you contact them or viceversa, every contract, email or even phone records. I will tell you my story briefly. Can't believe the phone call my mother has just recieved!! So happy we didn't use this company to sell my late grandmothers home! The branch manager evaluated the house!! We decided to go with a different estate agent as we found him false and how right were we! “5 months later and still no deposit returned... ”

Don’t bother trying to ask for your deposit back - you won’t reach the elusive staff members handling your case, colleagues will say they have passed your message on and nothing ever happens. I moved out of the flat at the end of July 2017 and I am yet to receive the deposit back (December 2017). After paying for a premium listing to sell our house we have had little contact from Bridgfords due to their staffing issues in that particular branch. We've had people not showing up for viewings and Bridgfords, the people who do call now and again can't even pronounce my name correctly and just do not care. Do not use this agent! Did not turn up for viewing I was shown around by the people living in the house, called to apply and paid over £300 in fees! Poor service when selling our house Bridgfords did not do any of the work promised. I had to write the description for the house, then they still managed to get it wrong on rightmove and zoopla and the floor plan they got wrong too. I had to ask them to put up a for sale sign, I had to ask them to change it to 'sold' when the house was sold. Very poor maintenance of property (Flat 1, 17 Balmoral Place, Halifax, HX1 2BG). I'm highly disappointed with the service of Bridgfords Lettings, UK. It was mentioned three times that the purchaser did not want to be involved in a chain and hence, decided on another property. Avoid! Durham branch, DH1 3AA The Durham branch of Bridgfords seem to be operating on a very cheap basis for landlords, as they have a large portfolio of properties on the market for rent and sale. However, as we found out (as tenants), they do try to charge you money everywhere (references, visits, etc) and do try to take from the deposit what they can. “Dont touch this company”

Last year I became a new landlord and used Bridegfords to purchase the property and fully let the property. The management of the property are appalling in my opinion. They have asked tenants to make their own enquiries about leaks from adjourning properties rather than sort it themselves. They take months to sort out quotes for work. We rented with Bridgfords Manchester for 2 years - God knows how. From the very beginning they were DREADFUL! As many have said- firstly the initial COSTS!!!
