It says the original on the bottle as Bailey's was first sold in the early 1970's and you know your talking about a great liqueur when within a generation Irish Cream Liqueur is now it's own section at the drink store. Blending Irish cream with, Old Middleton Irish whiskey and chocolate give Bailey's its smooth taste which is still right up there among the best Irish cream liqueurs you can buy.

A friend of mine bought a bottle of Duty free Baileys at the store at Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne which he gave us as a present . When we opened it it smelt and tasted foul. On closer inspection it transpires that the bottle was 2 years past its use by date. By coincidence I also had a bottle at home which I purchased duty free in 20012 and lo and behold when I checked it today I found it was supposed to have been used by March 2011. So BEWARE do not buy a bottle without checking the use by date but one would not expect the Duty Free Shops to be selling such crummy products. It makes me wonder who is running these stores.Obviously Baileys couldn't care less either

Am I the only one that has noticed that Bailey's Irish Cream has been watered down? At first I thought I had gotten a bad bottle then after the third one I still notice that it is the weakest I have ever had in the past twenty years. I will not be buying it again until someone can confirm that they have gone back to the original formula. I wonder if they have sold the company. Get rid of the bean counter please. Buddy R.

I bought Baileys Creme Caramel from my local corner shop, it tastes bloody foul like tobacco i think it was fake . i have always bought Baileys for special occasions but was very disappointed with this one needless to say i will only purchase from a reputable Store from now on

Once people realise how simple it is to make this oneself and costs involved, I think home sales will plummet. I feel that the tiny tot size served up in restaurants and bars are not value for money but reflect ridiculous retail price. Baileys should be drunk in approx. half pint shots.

Bailey's Irish Cream goes down very smoothly and unlike Kahlua, it has a small afterbite. Mixes perfectly with coffee and is the best thing to make white Russians with. This is a liquor drink and not something you would party with.

It is heavenly. Creamy and smooth, well recommend Bailey's Irish Cream, only bad point for me... Fattening and starts to taste like metal after 2 bottles.

Bailey's Irish Cream is a drink of sophistication.
Class in a glass, with a marvellous taste and aroma.

Excellent! :P Baileys is creamy and has a very affecting taste. Cost is a little too high for a little bottle, a large ones just the right price but a small is a bit too expensive

Baileys Irish Cream is a very popular drink, to be drunk at any time of the day. It is expensive, so it's a shame if you buy some for a party and don't get any. There are other flavours like mint, but I haven't had these yet. It will be hard to beat this one. Top drink on the rocks.

Appealing over ice, but there are better alternative drinks in this category now. Just because it is the biggest company in the sector, it does not mean it is the best.

Baileys is essentially the defacto cream liqueur. It's taste, with a hint of cocoa, wonderfully thick cream, and modest amount of whiskey make for a classic drink, particularly served with 2 - 3 cubes of ice.
Some enjoy Baileys in mixed drinks and coffee. It is an appealing flavor, particularly with coffee, but to my tastes, best served with ice.

I love Bailey's Irish Cream. There is something so luxurious about something so sweet and so smooth. You can drink it neat, on the rocks, mixed into everything from paralysers to coffee and it never fails to improve the taste of anything you add it to. Even fruit juice can work with it. Don't cheap out and buy the Darby's or other brands; only Bailey's is the real deal.
