Terrible product with terrible quality, breaks easily, leaks all the time and has useless C02 dispenser. Beer is supposed to sit in a yeast cake when you drink it!!! If you want a good craft beer do it the right way not with stupid product like this… Read Full Review

My first brew was a complete flop, though was my error not testing pressure. Researching and following the book to a tee the second brew was a lovely and beer clear colour, the taste was great - however trying to get a lively and bubbly beer still eludes me! (As with the first it is flat as a tac) Under refrigeration it does NOT maintain pressure as they said it would. Be prepared to use a lot of Co2 cartridges! Sadly this makes it time intensive with need of monitoring and continually… Read Full Review

Great idea but It leaks from the pressure release valve when it is fermenting and had to use CO2 to make it seal The tap leaks when in the fridge and you have to keep using CO2 daily to pour a glass Tastes terrible but had it worked I would have used a Coopers beer mix 8x CO2 bulbs later I took it back for a refund … Read Full Review

Let us begin with the plus side. The assembly was very easy, and no leaks occured while pressure testing the unit. Well written manual with a lot of pictures needed for people unintelligent enough to purchase this kit, including myself. Ok, moving on to the bad stuff. I am actually quite sure that this machine could produce semi-decent beer if the beer mixes (along with yeast) were any good. Unfortunately, none of the mixes provided by this company are even close to good. In fact, they are… Read Full Review

I wanted so much to love my beer machine it looks great and it was simple to start producing what turned out to be a disgusting pond coloured brown water with an odd beer like taste. The beer just wont clear I would suggest 4 can bought from the Tesco own brand range would taste better and be cheaper per pint… Read Full Review

The positive reviews on this site are obviously from the company masquerading as customers. It's a complete waste of money. 4 brews, 4 lots of beer down the drain. i'm ebaying mine. what a waste. The beer is cloudy despite meticulous sterilisation. You ae much cheaper getting proper homebrew gear. I feel sorry for my wife who genuinly thought she was buying a quality product… Read Full Review

I'd give this product no stars. it's hard to assemble, it tends to leak, the pressure is always nil, the gas cylinders (bulbs) are impossible to change and the service you get if you complain is non-existent Do not waste your money on it!!… Read Full Review

No, this is a waste of your hard-earned cash. The beer doesn't taste all that great and it's just some kind of mixture that you pour in instead of real hops and malt. It's embarrassing to meet people who know what real beer tastes like and offer them a glass of this junk. They laugh and think you have been had. Which you have!!!! Don't buy it!!!!! Please don't buy this piece of garbage!!!!!… Read Full Review

Have used the beer machine for 3 years now. Beer is OK not as good as Real Pub beer or bottles but better than cans. Need to tighten things up when brought and make sure it does not leak before you put 1st brew in. I am able to do 5 / 6 brews a year (in 2 brew machines) before storing over winter. Do not need to clean out between brews. Had no problem with cloudy beer but tend to get through gas cylinders fast - buy extra in Wilkinsons… Read Full Review

THE BEER MACHINE 2000 DOSE NOT PRODUCE CLEAR BEER, I HAVE TRIED 4 KITS NOW AND I ENDED UP THROWING THE LOT DOWN THE DRAIN, I DID EVERYTHING BY THE BOOK AND EVEN GIVE IT MORE TIME IN THE MACHINE TO CLEAR, BUT TO NO AVAIL THE MACHINE ITSELF IS MECANICALY SOUND, IT SERVES BETTER AS A DISPENCING MACHINE FOR BEER YOU HAVE ALREADY BREWED THE CONVENTIONAL WAY. JACK NEWSHAM… Read Full Review

The Beer Machine is easy to use if you follow the instructions to the letter. Be scrupulously clean, 'Milton' (baby bottle stariliser) works well- no aftertaste. Make sure water is room temp before you start. Bottling the beer further improves it. Convenient. All ingredients come in pack. Around 50-70p per pint. Reliable if you are careful. Good beer! Bad point is only 18, or so, pints a time… Read Full Review

The Beer Machine is a complete and utter waste of time, effort and money. There are no good points. It is impossible to seal, it leaks, the pressure relief valve doesn't work, the beer won't clear… Read Full Review

The good thing about The Beer Machine is that the beer is ready in 10 days and is the best home brew kit I've ever tried. It's the next best thing to supermarket beer, actually I think it tastes better!! I hunted around to get the best price. Great fun, cheap beer and for a change, takes home brew to a new level of quality… Read Full Review

Hank likes his homebrew so The Beer Machine seemed like a great idea. It takes seven to ten days to prepare the perfect pint but it's worth the wait. No longer does real ale have to taste like a cross between fertiliser and nitric acid as you can brew a fine pint with this kit. I'm really happy with my purchase and see it as £100 well spent. Well done to our Canadian cousins on such an inspired invention… Read Full Review

Colinmacmac's Comment

This is the first comment from the company . Cloudy beer can be from bacteria but also if not cooled down after fermentation ( 4 days ) the spent yeast particles will stay around for longer than you want them to.
People who write to us with any questions on the process will get an answer within a day or two .
Cheers
