I am an advocate of calorie counting and recording and find WLR the best medium for this. It can be long winded and frustrating in some areas but generally is a success. You have an option of following various diet plans and can construct your own, which for a keen cook like me, is very useful. They post a number of Challenges which you can join. I love Weight Loss Resources and I have been a member on and off for some time now. Although I found it hard to stay focused particularly at this time of year when Christmas is fast approaching and I am eating out a lot of the time, I still managed to lose weight with WLR. I do like the challenges and the exercise section is really good for working out how many calories has been burned off. “Lost a stone and a half!”

I had a good run on WLR and lost weight following the 1 pound a week plan. Stuck to it, and I lost a pound a week, so did what it said it would do. I'm now more active and am hoping I can lay off calorie counting for a bit. If it doesn't work out, I will definitely join up again. After months of failing to lose weight I bit the bullet and signed up to WLR. I've been looking at the site for years. It worked really well and I managed to shed 10lb in two months. I loved the way it linked to my fitbit, so I could see the progress on that app as well as the WLR website. I also love the receipt ideas and the way you can add your own. Have been using this for the past few months, found it helpful and informative. Its essential that all food and exercise is recorded. You can select your own diet or one of there plans. I chopped and changed too much. P Price wise it's very cost effective Would recommend to enyone trying to loose weight. I have been a member of WLR for three months and have succeeded in losing the stone that I set out to lose. So thank you. By logging everything I ate, I thought twice about eating 'extras'! WLR is easy once you take the time to get used to keeping a log of your daily food intake and exercise. It really helps to motivate you and gets you to think about the amounts of calories in food and also how much exercis is needed to burn off those 'treats'!! I found the site immensely helpful and lost over 20kgs. The daily diary and meal planning really keeps one on track together with meal suggestions and masses of recipes. Having the calorie content to hand of all foods makes planning quick and easy and often a real eye-opener especially for ready meals that we might think are healthy but in fact are best avoided. I found weightlossresources.co.uk many years ago and signed up to see if their approach could help with dealing with a long term persistent weight problem. Ten years ago I was a 5'7", 29-year-old heavy smoker, weighing maybe nine or nine and a half stone. I was a reasonably active young mum. Like many smokers, I often substituted fags for food. Thanks for the comprehensively articulate review of weighloss resourses.co.uk which I've just joined this week myself. I've found it invaluable never before having the willpower to stick to diets or healthy eating myself. Joining slimming clubs is a no no for me as I only want to be answerable to myself, no one else if only for the reason I have a rebellious nature so it works against me...! I think your review is smashing and so accurate of the site, well done. =)
