We stayed at Kalimera Kos in October 04. We stayed for 7 nights and wished we had booked 10 the hotel was immaculate and staff very friendly. I was worried about the weather but I came back with a nice tan as weather was approx 30c each day. The food was wonderful and the restaurant manager was very helpful as I love a certain Greek wine Retsina he bought us a bottle to drink with our evening meal and would not accept payment. The Greek people are so trusting. We were 40 minute beach walk from main resort so nice walk to get rid of excess pounds from food, beer and Metaxa. We found a nice little bar next to Big Mikes on the way to Nireda with a manager named Yanus on a clear day you could see Rhodes. I will definitley go back one day but if you wish to see the old fort in Kos Town do not go on a Monday as it is the only day it is shut.
