This amazing "Roboraptor" is selling for £59.99!!!!

Just Like Last Year's Robosapien, The Roboraptor I

Just like last year's Robosapien, the Roboraptor is a fantastic piece of technology designed into a toy that's a lot of fun to play with. It's so realistic that pets often mistake it for a real animal. Children over about 12 years old will love it, but it may be a little frustrating to operate for children younger than 12.

It does use a lot of batteries, and even with fresh sets, they don't last long - around 7 hours of play seems to be the maximum you can expect.

One major attraction, at least for us and our children, was the fact that it has a 'roam' mode where you can just let it wander around and see what kind of trouble it gets into. The Roboraptor video here: http://www.robots-dreams.com/2005/10/raptor_plays_vi.html is a good example of what's possible with the Roboraptor roaming around by itself.

I Bought The Roboraptor For One Of My Nieces And I

I bought the Roboraptor for one of my nieces and I have to say that I was very impressed with this remote control dinosaur. The kid was a big fan of the Robosapien last year so the Raptor seemed like a natural choice for a present this time around. The Roboraptor is basically amazing; it can walk, stalk its prey or even run like the wind! What really impressed me was the way it walks and manoeuvres like the Raptors in the Jurassic Park films, it doesn't quite have the same speed though!!!

The Roboraptor also has a variety of sensors so he is aware when he is coming up against objects, the Raptor can be controlled via the user control pad or you can put him on an autopilot mode where he will roam by himself. This gizmo really comes into its own when you put it into attack mode, it snaps and bites like a true predator and can also play tug of war! The vicious robotic dinosaur can also snarl and hiss if he doesn't like the look of you But it's not all gratuitous violence, the Raptor also has a 'playful' nature where he will nuzzle up against the user for affection!

This is a splendid gadget and I have to say, it gets my vote ahead of the Robosapien! I guarantee the kids and big kids alike will love it too, my niece has been thoroughly delighted by the Raptor and I think it will make a brilliant Christmas or Birthday present for children everywhere.
