Clicky magazine with editor choosing the same people and places to advertise etc.
Needs a fresh look... I used to love reading this magazine some years ago.
Editor... go out and see the REAL CHESHIRE! Support the farmers/artists/young people of Cheshire and advertise events that include them all!

Cheshire Life is an essential read for any respectable Cheshire socialite. My wife and I love to look through this guide to find out whats going in Cheshire, and get the lowdown on all the latest parties and fetes. It's worth every penny, and is a good buy for anyone who is new to the parish and wants to get acquainted with the Cheshire Lifestyle. It also presents some good articles on property, and home and garden ideas. This magazine is definitely recommended!
PS: Non-Cheshire folk may wish to avoid this mag - you'd only get jealous of our delightful Cheshire lifestyle, and we wouldn't want that!

Awg's Response to The Daddy's Review

An amusing review, well done! I've lived in Stockport and Wilmslow all my life and know a little about it all.

<br>The magazine itself has a very long shelf life, and can be found in dentist waiting rooms etc. all over the County. It is a beautifully produced publication with high quality photos and articles. It does however, only represent what is now a diminishing culture in Cheshire. The rich and sometimes 'vulgar' north of the County, i.e. Wilmslow, Bramhall, Alderley Edge, Prestbury etc. has seen huge changes in recent years. People of true wealth and taste have partially been replaced by others who may find this magazine irrelevant. There are unique pockets in Cheshire which seem timeless, i.e. Nantwich, Tarporley, Alsager, parts of Chester etc. The average person in the far North, i.e. Stockport would be totally disconnected from Cheshire Life. They are more Manchester Evening News people. I myself have advertised in the magazine with various results. I stopped advertising on principle due to the activities of one of the owners of the magazine (a former estate agent). The most successful and useful aspect of Cheshire Life must be to Wedding Advertisers and those of slightly more affluence planning to wed. I hope it continues during continuing changing times in Cheshire.
