“Bad Service - Customer care doesnt know what they says”

I have been using Lycatalk account for past couple of months. The call gets connected and when we say a word, call gets dropped. But- I was billed for everytime and just ripped my money. I have complained this to their customer service. They are ridiculous and they dont know what they are talking. They lie and always play around. I am writing from Canada, I have tried two time with Lyca Star (Lyca Calling Card) company. The customer service is very rude. They don’t know how to speak foreigner even they don’t respect us. They are keep telling me to buy more phone cards. Please don’t but Lyca Star (Lyca Calling Card). It is time us, North American to against them. All the best!

“Worst Service I came across”

In last +6 months I have tried different calling cards and lycatalk is worst among them. 1. First time ever I faced voice quality problems with some phone service. It was not the case for each call but other providers gave me 100% satisfaction. 2. Once I recharged for $10 within 3-4 days they increased their rate from 1 cent/min to 1.5 cent/min. “From Buffalo, NY? Lycatel will cheat you all the way”

This is the worst international phone card company I have come across. Their local access numbers are false/disconnected numbers, and they don't have 24/7 customer service although they say they do, and I live in Buffalo, NY, and I tried to use the Lyca Asia and Global Tel cards. Unfortunetly you 100% right. I had bad experience with Lyca and their customer service ,and i will never buy their card again. I use calling cards all the time, at least 11-12 years and had never that bad experience ... They cut minutes, cut in the middle of your conversation, and charge u for that. Try to explain anything then to their customer service rep. ( I always had the same guy I could hardly understand because of his heavy accent). Obviously he didnt understand me since I got nowhere after talking to him for 15 min 3 times...whatever... Never buying this crapy card again...

I live in Belgium. I used to buy 5 euros VIPER international call card. The card announced 35 minutes call for the country I called to (I use this card to call to the SAME country each time). The first cards (about 70 to 90 cards) were correct, it gave me 35 minutes communication time. PURCHASED 3 VIPER INTERNATIONAL CALLING CARDS.I used my cards to call Pakistian on Saturday 3/oct/2012 I had a balance of £1.79 in credit. “GLOBAL TEL by LYCATEL IS WORTHLESS”

When I called my desired number for the 1st time (cellphone in Ethiopia) the automatic voice announced about 44 minutes of talking time for the 5EUR-balance. But this balance was finished after approximately 10-15 minutes. Just letting it ring for about 20 seconds reduced the time by 2 minutes. Anyhow, LYCATEL´s system seems to count ~20sec as 1 minute. i have been used lyca calling card for international calls from my mobile but now adays whan i enter number there is a massage that plz recharge your account when i recharged it with 5 euro then i use to dail lyca card with in min it was finished and asked for rechargebut why i have buy a card of 6 euro then i have recharge my account very poor service i really dont like lyca service in spain poor signat strength even in europe

you're right. They are so worthless. I've used Uni Tel by lycatel many times but every time, I've been disapointed. They'd say it's 80 minutes but after 10 minutes, it's over. it keeps reducing minute after few seconds of ringing. I'm now trying to find the one that can be worth if for calling Congo Democratic.

“Worst phone card company ever”

This must be the one, by far, the phone card company I've ever used. First time they said I had 1149 minutes when I didn't reach the person I was calling and tried the second time they said I only had 299 minutes left without the credit getting lower. When I tried to call customer service an indian answered and I didn't understand a thing from what he was saying, just impossible. A scam and a rip off is what you get! “Lycatlk - Money making rather than a paid service”

About couple of months ago I tried to purchase one of the calling card online. what a mistake !! I tried to purchase just one pin code but TRANSACTION WAS DECLINED and this happened 7 times (which I couldn't understand why at the time), 2 days later I found out that LYCATEL CHARGED ME 35 POUNDS without even one pin code.. I agree with you. I made a call and did not reach the recipient and was charged approx £1.50 even though i had not spoken to anyone. Then i was told i had 41 minutes left only to speak for 10-15 minutes. They are such a rip off and not value for money at all. Why are they selling them in denomination of £5 now claiming you get and extra £5.
