This is my 2nd Tigra. I owned my previous Tigra,a 2006 model, for nearly 3 years and it was taken in to Vauxhall 8 times for a leak in the boot. The guys were baffled and couldn't find the cause of the problem. Eventually I was told that as I parked on a sloping drive, I should reverse on the drive to avoid rain getting in the boot! (This actually worked).

I then asked for a replacement car and was promised that my current car had belonged to a friend of the salesman who had never had a… Read Full Review

Written on: 17/03/2010

we bought our 1.8 sport tigra in October 09 to replace our old tigra. We are really pleased with it and were very surprised at the size of the boot even when the roof is down.

The only problem we had was that it leaks on the drivers door - we were told that it was to do with the speakers not being fitted properly. On invistigation we have found that the top part of the door seal was not "tucked"into the bottom part -this is about eye level on the door frame. Hopefully we have now cured… Read Full Review

In the nearly four years I've had the car from new I've had no faults at all. No mechanical problems, no leaks. Maybe I've been lucky. It isn't a sports car, but offers with the top down is fun to drive and looks good. With the top up I suppose it is just a less practical Corsa!… Read Full Review

Having owned the Tigra for only a couple of weeks, im having problems with the boot leaking. The boot matt is saturated every time i open it, also condensating in the cabin is occuring which is leading me to believe it is leaking in their too. Purchased from Vauxhall so will be phoning them now.

Written on: 17/08/2005 by Lynne Childs (1 review written)

I have owned 3 Tigras - this being the new convertable is fantastic. I love my car. The roof has had all the teething problems dealt with on the Peugeot (same manufacturer). The car is fun to drive though I would recommend the 1.8 Sport as opposed to the 1.4. The roof is a little heavy I feel if you need power. Although aimed at the young 20 something, me being an old(er) 40 single something get as much, if not more enjoyment out of it - and I do choose my passengers carefully, the… Read Full Review
