The Amarylis Apartments Is A Brill Place For A Hol
The Amarylis Apartments is a brill place for a holiday. Not too far from airport. right in the centre of the small resort of Tsilivi. nice walk to the beach only a few minutes away. shallow water.
Amarylis Pool bar is friendly and prices there are cheaper than the other bars. pool is great. apartments are clean and all over look the pool area. lots of shops nearby. trips and excursions available locally much cheaper than with the holiday rep.

We Stayed At The Amarylis And Found It Very Excell
We stayed at the Amarylis and found it very excellent indeed. The pool staff were very friendly. The apartment was very clean, and there was a maid service every day.
We can't wait to go back next year. Our teenage children made lots of friends, and so did we.

We Stayed In The Amarylis Apartments In The Heart
We stayed in the Amarylis Apartments in the heart of Tsilivi. The accommodation itself was fairly basic and clean with a small kitchen and utilities, although it was extremely difficult for me and my wife to sleep at night with the noise and hot rooms. Despite this, our holiday got off to a good start. The restaurants were fantastic and the beach and sea were especially beautiful, almost perfect.
However, it was clear shortly in to our holiday that the resort had fallen into a 'tourist trap'. The locals were quite miserable considering the Greeks nice reputation and seemed like they'd had enough of the tourism there, not that I could blame them
The resort was also very money-orientated, never more obvious than our experience with the lady who ran the pool bar at the Amarylis. After the first couple of days around the pool and buying drinks and lunch we decided to explore the local surroundings and experience more of the Greek culture. As we had a child and were on our first holiday abroad it would have been silly to want to spend all our time around the pool bar and this obviously didn't bode well with the owner. On the 10th day she rudely interrupted our conversation and bluntly explained that they were her sun beds and for regular customers only (no wonder we felt we were being watched!). My wife was very upset and felt she had ruined a holiday we saved very hard for. Our rep also informed us she was within her rights but they'd had trouble with her over this many times. Reading some of the reviews, its obvious how friendly she can be when you spend the majority of your time at the pool bar and yes, they are always willing to take your money for their over-priced snack food, but I wouldn't recommend doing so.
A cruise round the island confirmed how beautiful some of the island still is and I would still recommend some parts of Greece such as the Island of Rhodes and parts such as Pefkos and Lindos, which we hear are much more family friendly. If you have your heart set on Tsilivi please avoid the Amarylis Apartments at all costs, the Georgia's and Alamis apartments came recommended from our rep.
