Hilary Mantel, Beyond Black

If you like the supernatural then you will love Beyond Black by Hilary Mantel.

The book is about two women who depend on each other, and have quite unsettling lives. One of the women is a psychic, and most of the spirits that she encounters are evil. That is not to say that this book is a horror story; and although it contains some very good edge of the seat scenarios, the book is primarily a human interest story, and one that is very touching.

I could not put this book down at all, and I read it from cover to cover in 2 days.

A highly recommended book.
