My Panasonic Tx32lxd500 Was Bought After My Last T
My Panasonic TX32LXD500 was bought after my last TV blew up (luckily whilst I was in the room) and I wanted an LCD TV to watch movies and play my Xbox360. Colour and contrast rated highly because of this so it was a decision between a Sony and this Panasonic television. The Panasonic was cheaper and had great black definition so my choice was made. 3 years later and it's still going strong.I watch my Blu Ray films via the HDMI port and the picture is great (there are 2 HDMI ports so I can have both my PS3 and Xbox360 plugged in at the same time. Hopefully this TV will last until I can afford an OLED (and when they make one big enough!).

The Panasonic Tx32lxd500 Is A Beautifully Designed
The Panasonic TX32LXD500 is a beautifully designed 26" 66cm V High Definition LCD TV. This complete with Integrated Digital Tuner, 1366x768 resolution, this High Definition Television displays a picture with a much higher resolution than a standard television set, dramatically improving the picture quality. This is achieved by an increased number of lines. It has a Viera colour management system, and an integrated freeview 800:1 contrast ratio NICAM FM stereo sound with a 20 Watts audio output. It is complemented with a SD memory card slot.
It has a Aspect ratio of 16:9, which is the standard for HDTV and most DVD video formats, better known as Widescreen.
Many years ago I envisaged that TV's would be lightweight units, and this I consider to be very very close to that. It has a display quality defined by the number of individual pixels used to create a magnificent image.
The pixel count is 1366x768; does not require excuses or apologies for anything other than spoiling you with total reality television of the 21st century. Ideal for football, cricket and good quality entertainment. Added to that, the way that it displays natural history programmes is as if you are actually in the place itself, and it is reality right before your eyes.
I can not sing its praises more.
Quote: 28" of pure magic... Quote: beautifully designed 26"...
I think that the model in question is a 32" and am therefore wondering if the reviewer knows what TV s/he is reviewing.

I Bought The Panasonic Tx32lxd500 Lcd Tv 3 Months
I bought the Panasonic TX32LXD500 LCD TV 3 months ago, after a very long search to find what I wanted. I had a set criteria, and that was the picture and sound to start with, and I was not disappointed there. My next set of wants were more on a personal level, but I think they were what most people would like as a standard feature, if they could get them, and they were... 3 scart sockets, PIP, POP and PAP, plus a Card reader for those all important photo's taken on holiday or wherever. The handset was one of the best I've owned, and it was very well built and felt very sturdy to the hand, and not flimsy in any way. This is also mimicked on the TV itself, as this is also extremely well built.
The first time I switched on the TV after connecting the set, it started to tune itself in and had no problems sorting out the available programs, and because I had several other pieces of equipment to be attached, it also tuned into them as well, so they all gelled together, and that was a great help and a nice touch. One of the features built-in was the auto light meter, and this altered the picture quality according to the light source. This worked very efficiently, and was spot on most of the time. The one thing I noticed immediately was the lack of reflection, even when the sunlight was coming in through the window at midday. My old set was a bind for this, and it was no fun having to keep getting up to close the curtains. I don't have to do that anymore.
I have been fortunate enough to run a HDTV signal through my set, even though it is not available officially yet, and I can tell you this... It will be hard to beat on this set... The quality is truly outstanding and 3D like. Water scenes are very life like, and you come out of the experience feeling wet, especially when the droplets hit the screen. The first time it happened I actually jumped back it was THAT real.
There may be some out there that will say that this TV is NOT that good, but I kid you not, like any TV, you only get out what you put in, and by that I mean it will only reveal it's true colours with a good signal source It can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Give it the supply and it WILL deliver.
The sound quality is not a disappointment either; delivering a punchy bass and strong treble, so speech is crisp and clear. You don't have much to play with with only two settings (music and speech), but you don't need to alter it from the factory settings to be truthful.
As with most expensive setups, there are not a lot of gimmicks and buttons to play with, and why should there be? You buy this TV for the sheer quality it can deliver in picture and sound. The set will not be around for much longer, so if you get the chance to grab one before the new model comes out (not as good or classy), GET IT! You won't be disappointed.

I Have Had The Panasonic Tx32lxd500 Lcd Tv For 6 M
I have had the Panasonic TX32LXD500 LCD TV for 6 months, and with less than 1000 hours of usage the bulb blew. I am still waiting to find out if it will be covered under the warranty. Not sure how much a replacement bulb costs!
This is an LCD tv, it does not have "bulbs" only rear projection tv's have "bulbs" and this not one.

Kelkoo Do A Great Job In Listing Suppliers And Thi
Kelkoo do a great job in listing suppliers and this in my case was very helpful, if only to establish a likely price, but on making contact with several suppliers, they were talking weeks.
Fortunately I saw the best price I had seen and this was from ElectroSavers in Bradford, only 8 miles away.
Straight away at 12.00 I phoned and they said they had only 2 sets delivered the previous day, so I quicky visited after putting a reserve on one.
That supplier was excellent, efficient and most helpful in every respect, and without doubt I would not only recommend but I will return for a future purchase.
Thanks to Kelkoo and ElectroSaver, I had the set home and working by 15.35 Hrs.
I live in Cornwall and ETS our local electrical shop had this TV in stock. We are new to digital being over 65's. Shop delivered within 48 hours and set up for us. We are more than pleased and would give this TV double points for picture quality and ease of use.
