Freecall Has Saved Us Lots Of Money
We've been using Utility Warehouse for 9 years & have been delighted by their service and their prices. When I've had need to call them, the phone has usually been answered in under 15 seconds, which is hours away from the responsiveness I've had from other utility providers.
Taking their full package of services provides opportunities for savings and convenience that no other company can hope to match! A key example is that via FreeCall we get all our UK local and national calls free all the time, not just at weekends or evenings. I love having a single bill, single direct debit, and one point of contact rather than 4 or 5. Using their Cashback card means we get an additional £20-£40 off our bill each month, which I think is quite phenomenal.
Sounds very much like your a distributor for the company!! That's unfair as your views are Biased.
It doesn't give potential customers a clear picture!!!

Hmmmmm...
The comments below, are very strange.. Iv just looked through the terms and conditions of the payg service, a minimum call charge is 15p which means a call can last between 0sec and 2mins and it will cost 15p, if you have a 3 min call it will cost 21p a 4min call 28p and a five min call 35p.
I think you've scammed yourself or been miss informed, dont miss inform others on here. Check your facts.

Hidden Charges Galore
I ported my partner's Giffgaff number to Utility Warehouse yesterday since he has problems getting reception when he visits his brother in Wales. Utility Warehouse says it has the "cheapest UK tariffs" or so I believed so I chose their network at 7p calls and 4p texts. I thought I was getting a deal as my partner rarely uses his mobile and I am happy using Giffgaff goodybags so I topped his number with 5 pounds and made a call to customer service to learn how to check my remaining balance as it is not indicated anywhere on the package they sent us.
Turns out, the small print on their tariff sheet was a major catch as they charge 15p "minimum call charge" and a compulsory "minimum monthly call spend" of 2 pounds. I immediately called their customer service which charges 12p (checking the balance also costs 12p) and the guy told me the 15p is the "connection charge" making each call 15p more than they lead customers to believe. The 2 pounds "minimum monthly call spend" he said will be deducted to my credit if my partner doesn't call enough each month which makes me feel I have been scammed.
Reading more about this "minimum call charge" I stumbled upon this article which I hope everyone reads. Those who do not use Goodybags and are reliant on "cheaper" pay as you go tariffs should always read the small print for they might be paying more than what they think. Question, does Giffgaff have minimum call charges? I checked their price sheet and I didn't see any small print so I guess they don't. Also, do they have "minimum monthly call spend" on PAYG?
80% of all business calls last less than 3 minutes, and 50% less than 1 minute. 25% of all calls last less than 30 seconds
Let's do some Maths:
3 minutes in Utility warehouse: 15p + 7p + 7p + 7p = 36p
3 minutes in Giffgaff PAYG: 10p + 10p + 10p = 30p
2 minutes in Utility warehouse: 15p + 7p + 7p = 29p
2 minutes in Giffgaff PAYG: 10p + 10p = 20p
1 minute in Utility warehouse: 15p + 7p = 24p
1 minute in Giffgaff PAYG: 10p = 10p
To sum up, please be aware of the following hidden costs when choosing a mobile network provider:
1. Minimum call charges
2. Minimum monthly call spend
3. Charges for checking balance
4. Charges for customer support
5. Admin fee for services like getting PAC codes, switching bundles, etc.
As for me, I'll just use up the top up I bought for Utility Warehouse and then run away as fast as I can to another network with TRULY cheaper pay as you go tariffs. For other Utility Warehouse users, you may call 0800 131 3000 if you want to get your PAC codes as calling the customer service will charge you and then transfer you to that number.
These prices are out of date and customer service is now a Freephone number.

I Have Checked The Utility Warehouse Freecall Sear
I have checked the Utility Warehouse FreeCall search engine and can find no reference to the Telecom Plus SIM.
My Orange contract has run out, and I have changed to the Telecom Plus SIM only deal at £8 per month, no contract, .08p per minute at any time to any network!
I know that it is run off the T-Mobile backbone, and there is a very good Blackberry deal as well. Go to:
Then click 'SIGN UP' and you can then choose mobiles, then the comparison button for the SIM only package. I would say that there is no mobile that would interest us!
The correct URL for telecom plus is www.telecomplus.co.uk or www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk.
