Bought more than 15 years ago second hand on ebay, used once or twice a week since. It is 'intelligent', but not very. When the motor brushes wear out it thinks the drum is jammed because the motor isnt turning as fast as expected. It then panics, stops and the dial starts ticking round and round. Motor brushes are cheap, available and quite easy to fit. The drier only good for very light loads, and the airways clog with fluff, it probably isnt energy efficient - I seldom use this function. The drain plug gets jammed when the kids pencils, lego and coins get into the drain pump. I had to replace the plug once (readily available). Touch wood, it has never leaked.

I have had my Indesit for over 7 years now - I actually gained it when I bought my flat so even then it wasn't brand new. Granted there has only been me over the years so have only used the machine once or twice a week but its been excellent. Yes the handle has snapped off but easily replaced at a cost of £9.00. the cycle button does click round ocasionally but leave it for a while then go back and its fine. so would recommned!

worked ok for about 6 months. now have an engineer out at least once every 3 months - no exageration. machine is nothing but a nightmare and would never recomend to anyone. only reason it has not been replaced is due to extended warranty and they will not replace with a new machine, they will just keep replacing parts. i have had new door, front panel, drum, bearings, heater new motor twice, need i say any more?

DO NOT BUY THIS Indesit WD10 cheap piece of junk
I may not be rich but i will save my money and get something like a zanussi from £500 upwards.
At least it might last longer and work better than this crappy WD10!

drum bearing do not last long . we have had our Indesit washer dryer 10 for four years now its on its way out again.
this could be our second drum that needs to be replaced
plus now the programmer has broken down has well
its a shame that the Machines we buy today are not like the machines back in the fifties and sixties {AT LEAST THEY LASTED
YEARS} not months

I would never ever by another Indesit and would never by another wash/dryer combi. The machine has taken to 'clicking' round the cycles instead of going to 'dry' cycle. water has leaked on two occasions from bottom of machine, this being a screw that had came loose at the bottom of drum, access from underside, I'm told this holds heater in place.

Overall the Indesit WD10 it does what it says. if you want a cheap one , expect mediocre results.

My Indesit WD10 washer dryer is 4 years old.
It was a bad mistake to buy a combination wash/dry machine - laundry takes too long now.
Handle on door has broken and been replaced.
Recently the machine has taken to 'clicking' round the cycles instead of going to 'dry' cycle.
Now programme selector turning free and programmes cannot be selected at all. Needs either new dial/new programme selector, which will cost £7 + £25 retrospectively. Not chuffed. Previous Zanussi lasted for 12 years!

The Indesit WD10 has broken down several times. Dryer blower motor twice and all the steel brackets around the drum split. Makes a horrendous noise when this happens.
Made out of cheap rubbish.

I have had my wd10 now for 2 years, its been on every day for the whole time. Now when i put the programme on it continually rotates, until i turn it off at the mains, but the drier programme is in tact.
<br>I now wish i had the extra guarantee, thats life.
