The Bush DFTA2 struggles to pick up channels my Panasonic box easily picks up.
Remote response very sluggish.
Battery on remote has just run out, not easy to replace as button type.
My One for all Kameleon universal remote will not perform most of the original remote's functions
Cheap looking
Poor user guide, no now and next information

Since the EPG was updated the box continually crashes and picture quality has decreased on the Bush DFTA2.

There was nothing wrong with the Bush DFTA2 digital receiver but the remote was very substandard and can't be replaced when it stops working. The remote control was always a problem -buttons are small and too close together . Response was erratic -you didn't always get the channel you pressed. It buttons stopped responding one by one and it was useless within the year. I bought a universal control which worked ok until recently when the receiver tried to up date . There was no 'OK' button on the new remote so we could not accept the changes. Buyers of replacement remotes beware! I'm back with the 5 channels now and deciding whether to buy a new remote or a new receiver, which seems silly.

For 19.99 It's not too bad for a spare bedroom. The box is rather bend and plasticly, the remote is a credit-card type with a watch battery, I can imagine it getting lost or breaking easily. The buttons are also very small and close together. The channel change response is sort of ok, not the quickest but not the slowest either. The display is a garish green. Interference causes it to pixel late or freeze but there's no loss of sound or nasty screeches like other boxes.

The Bush DFTA2 Freeview box has been an endless frustration since I bought it. One day it picks up one freeview channel perfectly, and the next it will not. When I bought this I thought all freeview boxes were the same bar their look, but how wrong I was? I rated this item as a low 1 because it reliably switches on, but it is otherwise useless. Shame on you Bush.
