Since Getting My Broadband Upgraded, I Wanted A Dv
Since getting my broadband upgraded, I wanted a DVD player that would be able to play any video file without having to convert it to DVD format before playing it. The Yamada DVX-6700 is the cheapest DivX player I've found on the Net, and I have had no problems so far.
First of all, it looks great. It's small and is easy to use. If you like your players no-frills then this could be the one for you. It doesn't even say the name on the player!
Secondly, it plays EVERYTHING! I've not come across one file type that it won't play!
The remote is easy to use and doesn't have 101 buttons on it doing things you'll never use! It does occasionally misbehave though. For example if you press Menu, it might eject the disc, but this has only happened twice in the 3 months I've had it.
All in all, a great player if you're web-friendly, and if you're not, a great player anyway because it's so cheap!
