This is a lovely restaurant situated on a hill overlooking the sea at Los Abrigos Tenerife. David the chef has recently moved from one of the golf clubs nearby and has brought a lot of his clientele with him. The food is French but not overly decorative or nouvelle cuisine. His meat suppliers are excellent (some fly the meat in from France), the fondues are great fun and very tasty and he does a vast selection of crepes both sweet and savoury - well worth a visit.

Calimero has now closed and has been replaced by an Italian restaurant - La Scarpetta. I found the food to be average but at a fair price. Myself and my husband were unhappy with some of the staff. We won't be returning - a shame, it's nice to have something else a bit different in the area.
