Toshiba Tecra A2

The Toshiba Tecra A2 is a business notebook or laptop, it is aimed at people that do not want shinhy consumer stuff but one that you can use as a representative for a company.

The Tecra a2 is just that, it features a 15 inch screen and is deigned for Windows Xp or higher. the performance is not super fast but it does deliver and run the most commonly used office programs and internet applications.

battery life is fair about 2 hrs on full power (engery saving disabled high performance) if you are in a not too bright surrounding and you want to squeeze more battery life you can set the tecra a2 to lower cpu setting that enables longer battery life.

the display is good readable and bright and colourfull on the high setting

it is ideal for films and photo's or just a spreadsheet or so.

after 3 years my old 40gb harddrive failed and i installed a 80gb harddrive my self it was very easy to do so.

it does not weigh much without the adapter , and the sound is fair too (ok you miss the bass part but at least the level is more than enough to disturb people .

so if you do not care that it is not the latest bling bling laptop and you want one that lasts long i can reommend this one to anyone

Great notebook. I had mine for four years without any problem, no blue screen, no hardware issues, no battery problems, no quality problems. I've added 1.0 GB RAM. The recovery is easy to do - pressing "0" while starting up gets me to clean C:. Well recommend Toshiba Tecra A2 for a nice laptop.

This Toshiba Tecra is not a bad computer, Good quality and reliable which is what you want for the money. Although I think mine has a dodgy fan which gets to hot.

Toshiba Tecra A2 is one of the better Toshibas, it is sleek, light and aesthetically pleasing. It is comfortable enough and the build quality is pretty good.

However if you are looking to use a docking station/port replicator pick another laptop.

I have had this Toshiba Tecra A2computer since September...about 8 months. I'm happy enough with it, but I could have found better. It was a buisness buy.
