“Don't listen to the negative comments”

Written on: 06/07/2016 by AJRK19 (1 review written)

I went through an assessment day with Pareto in April and have now done 2 months at my job, found through them. They are slightly unorthodox in their methods but they have found me a great job, one which I never would have found by myself, and they have continued to support me since being placed in work, by training weeks etc. I would recommend Pareto… Read Full Review

“Thoroughly Valuable Experience”

Written on: 29/03/2015

Initial Consultation: I found the initial conversation and telephone interview very helpful. Obviously it serves to give Pareto more information to assist them in the screening process, but from the perspective of an initial candidate - I found this a valuable opportunity to start selling myself and start looking into the role in more detail. Assessment Registration: I thought that the topic chosen for the presentation was relevant and the research materials I was provided with… Read Full Review

“Just for clarify things around Pareto and their methods”

Written on: 06/01/2015 by DannyBignuts (1 review written)

Dear Readers and other commenters, I am a person who literally never writes comments about anything, but I felt I really need to write something about my experience as well, so whatever you will read now is my honest and objective review of Pareto Law and the hiring process. In February 2014 I saw this opportunity at a world leading IT company, they were looking for Inside Sales Graduates. I would rather not say which company in which country, as I am still working there. I quickly applied to… Read Full Review

“Was dubious, but proved wrong ”

Written on: 04/12/2014

I'm a final year student who was panic-applying for graduate jobs and was actually quite dubious when I got the call back from Pareto...but actually I thought the recruitment process was really good - I didn’t feel like I was in a pressurised situation because of the friendliness of my graduate manager on the phone, and so I could demonstrate my strongest attributes in the best light, and I felt confident doing so. I was a little bit nervous when the telephone interview was sprung on me… Read Full Review

“Challenging but fun day”

Written on: 25/11/2014 by Ashworthku384 (1 review written)

I read all of the negative reviews on here and was a bit apprehensive about going to the assessment day. When I got there all of the other graduates where very talkative and friendly so I felt like I fitted right in and got to know the other graduates. The introduction of yourself bit took a while because there where forty of us but I was intrigued in what everyone's best non-academic achievement was. After this where the group tasks and some reviews are right, people where shouting over each… Read Full Review

“Positive experience”

Written on: 14/10/2014 by Jensen91 (1 review written)

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. My own experience has been quite positive really. I applied for a job and was contacted for a phone interview. The bloke was very professional and quite nice. I got selected to go to an assessment day. I think I had about 3 phone calls from them in the few days leading up to the interview. They were very helpful. The assessment day started a bit late, but nothing terrible. Everybody seemed quite nice. A couple of loud people who clearly loved the… Read Full Review

“Im currently in the middle of the Pareto assessment...”

Written on: 12/08/2014 by Virginia282 (1 review written)

Im currently in the middle of the Pareto assessment process after I applied online. I was called back quickly and met the initial criteria and invited for a phone interview and after being successful invited to an assessment day. They have been nothing but helpful so far and have provided me with lots of great advice and feedback and what to expect from the whole process. The assessment day was an enjoyable experience and I got the chance to meet people from all levels of the company including… Read Full Review

“great experience ”

Written on: 11/07/2014 by Richards190 (1 review written)

Although I wasn't successful, this was the first assessment day I'd been on and really enjoyed the day. The feedback was good as well and was informed that I'd been a bit quiet at times which I also recognized. I enjoyed the majority of activities throughout the day… Read Full Review

“Used to work there.”

Written on: 08/07/2014 by Eileenp289 (1 review written)

I used to work for Pareto. I left the company 2 years ago and with that came the inevitable challenges when you leave a company in this sort of industry. The reason I mention that is to highlight that I am not biased and have no alterior motive for what I write below. felt compelled having read some reviews which I think are misleading and unfair. The reality is that Pareto Law are an outstanding company as far as recruitment into sales goes. This is true from a client and candidate… Read Full Review

“Definitely worth a shot!”

Written on: 09/03/2014 by Robertson72 (1 review written)

Like most people, I thought I'd research the company before I went to the assessment centre and came across this website. I thought I would give my 2cents worth. I was successful on the undergrad assessment day and when I graduate I will hopefully be sent to an interview with one of Pareto's clients!! I went in there thinking I'd just be happy with the interviewing and presentation experience but I got selected!!! This means anyone can. I've seen so many negative reviews on here some of… Read Full Review

“Turned me into an excellent interviewee! ”

Written on: 11/02/2014 by FinallyEmployed (1 review written)

I was successful from the assessment day and highly recommend using Pareto with your job hunt. That is not to say I would solely rely on them to place you, but instead I would heavily recommend using them to help you in your job hunting journey. I have never experienced a company that was more willing to help me. I understand all of you negative nancies out there will put that solely down to financial reasons but so what? At the end of the day, they are trying to make a living just as much as… Read Full Review

“Pareto found me employment”

Written on: 12/01/2014

I was successful at the assessment centre and found employment through Pareto. For me and I suspect many others this was always going to be a stop gap job; I lasted 3 months in the job before being sacked at the end of my probation period. I'm an engineering graduate from a top university but found myself facing unemployment immediately after graduation. Cold calling and sales was never going to be a long term career for me, I'd be surprised if Pareto and the company that employed me… Read Full Review

“A big opportunity! ”

Written on: 11/09/2013

I have nothing but positive things to say about Pareto. Actually the best things about Pareto is the nice Pareto-staff that I met during the assessment day, and they have been even nicer afterwards during the whole process (and still are). They honestly care for you!! My contact person especially, she respond to my emails/text/phone calls immediately and she is aaaalways so friendly! Pareto law open the door to your future career! … Read Full Review

“Excellent in-house training”

Written on: 28/08/2013

I started work at a height safety company, taking on a general secretarial role. However, after a few months working with them my role progressed and they required me to carry out certain sales tasks for them. I had little, in fact no previous sales experience, which is where Pareto came in. The company employed Pareto to train me up in the sales area I required. I attended the 'Fundamentals of Selling' course at the Pareto head quarters and feel much more confident on the phones when… Read Full Review

“Pareto are good, please read this though!”

Written on: 13/08/2013 by ar9532 (1 review written)

Pareto approached me after uploading my CV onto Reed - I was chuffed to bits, went to the assessment day in London on a Wednesday, on Thursday Pareto had organised 6 interviews for London tech firms for me the following week. Thursday 7pm got another call from Pareto, saying that a company wanted to interview me on Friday. So went on Friday to the interview, great little company on the South Bank in London, was hugely impressed, amazing office, amazing people, got offered the job on the… Read Full Review

“certainly an experience if you can afford it”

Written on: 14/01/2013

I have to say overall the experience was quite cool, given that I have never been to an Assessment Centre day and have only heard from my friends about “real” assessment centres”, where they had to prove they could think and work as a team – but obviously for a very different job role than was Pareto offers. They were trying to be as professional as possible, although it’s difficult with people so young.. Gee.. one said he was 22, which immediately made him so much less credible in… Read Full Review

“Started new job ”

Written on: 15/11/2012

I went to a Pareto assessment day in Wilmslow in August. The way they captured my information was a bit strange because I had applied through them for a job in Billingham, but when I received the phone call for a telephone interview there was no mention that the Billingham job ever existed. The assessment day was your stereotypical graduate assessment day, quite competitive, rather cringe with everybody attempting to seem utterly sociable and employable but well organised and a challenge. It… Read Full Review

“Absolutely fine”

Written on: 15/11/2012

I attended the Pareto Assessment Day yesterday - although I was almost a no-show after reading these reviews! On the whole the experience was fine. There were moments that were slightly cringe (greatest achievement, everyone constantly shaking hands and appearing sociable), but it wasn't significantly worse than other assessment days I've attended previously. The assessors are generally quite young, but it only seems to be much older graduates who get offended by this, I personally don't see… Read Full Review

“Focus on your presentation! ”

Written on: 17/09/2012 by charlie03 (1 review written)

I just had my assessment day with Pareto last week, and I had read through all of these reviews beforehand and been really put off. The day is tough and there were about 50 other graduates there, which was pretty daunting as I'm really not a loud, shouty person. I completely failed at the two group exercises, didn't get a word in because everyone was shouting at each other and I actually didn't understand the other one at all and just kept quiet (it's about the colours red and blue). Anyway I… Read Full Review

“Assessment review”

Written on: 31/07/2012 by Memking007 (1 review written)

I too went to the same assessment as yourself and I agree the whole process did take way too long, as they mentioned during the day they didn't expect everyone to turn up. They could have split the group..... Before the assessment I read the many reviews on how bad they are and I believed it would be a waste of time as they are looking for people who shout and argue. I found that this wasn't the case, I was successful and believe me I didn't shout while I spoke or even argued with anyone. I… Read Full Review
