The Spyder Xtra is really a good option for the money the reason I give it four stars instead of five really has to do with Kingman the company. The barrel uses proprietary treads (Spyder threads)it would be very beneficial if the company would go to Autococker treads like many other manufactures. I also do not like the metric macro fittings they aren't as easy to find and most fields do carry them. (I don't like steel braided line)The marker also does not come with a clamping feed neck but you can get one for something to the tune of $15 which is a far better option than to add a really tall collar. Overall not a bad marker pick up a new barrel a new feed neck an switch to macro line and you have a passable marker for cheap price.

The paintball marker in what regards of quality/price i recommend to anyone that is starting practicing paintball. The Kingman Spyder Xtra has lots of upgrades available and its an inexpensive, arccurate and durable. I found that it does need a new barrel and the weight is a bit too much.

The Kingman Spyder Xtra is sweet. Well love how it can switch from reg to three shots then to full auto. The only bad points is that the colours are all wrong for the power.

The Kingman Spyder Xtra is a great allround painballing gun. A lot of fun to use and pretty powerful and accurate. Really do recommend this one.

The stock barrel is a bit ropey but an all round good marker, on the whoe though the Kingman Spyder Xtra paint ball gun is quite good.

If you want a durable gun that's not very expensive and you care more about strategy than paint buy this gun!

For speedball, using a Tippmann is THE dumbest thing you can do. The double trigger and Derlin bolt systems make the Spyder Xtra marker a way better choice for speedball. It does always seems to have a CO2 leak due to the low air effeciency. It has a super high firing rate if you have fast fingers though! Would recommend the Kingman Spyder Xtra.

Overall the Kingman Spyder Xtra is not only a good beginner gun but good for all players. But maybe you should't use it in speed ball.

A great gun for beginners and tournaments
The only thing that happened to my Kingman Spyder Xtra gun is when I chopped a ball the bolt jammed because a piece of shell caught in it.
All paintball guns will chop some balls the xtra is the best gun for not chopping I have seen and is also an easy to fix and clean gun

This is a fantastic paintball gun for its low price tag. The Kingman Spyder Xtra is actually surprisingly accurate with the stock barrel and it is quite easy to jump into a backyard game of woods ball and be able to compete with this gun. The gun is quiet, reliable, and is a blast to shoot. I rarely chopped balls with it and enjoyed every minute I used it. The only reason I traded up for a Spyder Imagine is because I needed something a little faster to keep up with the competition (electronic trigger). Buy this gun if you just casually play with your friends in the woods and dominate them. The barrel that comes stock on this gun loves any type of ball and can even use Blue Streaks effectively. Great first time gun. Owns the Triton, Stingray, and all those other cheapos that your friends will pick up for their first gun. Surprise them with the Xtra.

The gun is well balanced when it has Co2 on a full hopper on it. It is easy to maneuver around the field and tight corners. I have also never had a ball break in the chamber or in the hopper. The trigger has just the right amount of resistance. So you don't have to "pull" on the trigger. What I found really annoying is that it just seems to eat Co2, and the weight.

The Kingman Spyder Xtra is my first marker. I have enjoyed using it so far and have learned a lot about this gun. Just for the record it is not a gas hog, you are all probably using 9oz. Tanks try going to a 20 or even nitrogen. Tippman 98!!!? Who cares the 98 is too bulky and kind of weak. I would take a spyder over a tippman any day!!!! As far as ball chopping goes buy better paint and size it to your barrel, i use draxxus scorch and I have very low ball breakage. Overall a good marker for your money.

The Kingman SPyder Xtra is one fantastic gun. These people who give it a 0 or 1 out of 10 are obviously using a regualr non-powered hopper, rubbish balls and low oz CO2. This gun TRUELY is a fantastic gun. Seriously, it really has some force (I have shot plenty to know that). If you are looking for a gun with more than enough bang for the buck, this is the way to go, plus, it can be upgraded extremely easily. If you are looking for a gun, but don't have hundreds of dollars, BUY THIS GUN, or no, even if you have money, BUY THIS GUN, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

My friends dad bought the Kingman Spyder Xtra and I was laughing at him because its a Walmart gun, when we got to the field I beat him because he started and he asked to use my gun Tipman 98, I was amazed, it shot faster and was more accurate then my tipman: 0, it was even more accurate then my tipman overall a good gun, you'll need a 20oz if you want to have real fun.

The Kingman Spyder Xtra is the first paintball gun I have owned. I almost gave up on the hobby because of this POS! I bought it from a well known sporting goods store for $90. Used it ONE DAY and the damn thing wouldn't fire after about 40 balls! Took it back and exchanged it and gave it another try. Same BS happened! This time it shot about 100 balls. I took it back and got a Tippmann 98 Custom. No problems what so ever now!

The Kingman Spyder Xtra is a bad gun even for beginners; this gun doesn't teach you how a real paintball gun is. I mean the Tippman 98 is a better gun then this or a mongoose. Or just a spyder victor 1 or 2 there even better.
Strongly disagree with this gun.

I have one,ive had it for a year.Well i noticed it ate up co2 and its a little heavy. I just wanted to know if you can put a scope on it, because of the male feed im not really sure.
<br>Also im gonna get a scope and i wanted to know if a teardrop is a good choice for a aftermarket barrel?
