“Flaxby Pure Cotton mattress protector”

Good experience in store and with delivery- mattress good so far. My complaint is with a product which costs £45 - The Pure Cotton mattress protector. This isn't 100% pure cotton, it has polyester/hollowfibre filling and unlike the very expensive range of Flaxby 'made in England' beds (Harrison Spinks) this item is actually made in China. “Avoid !!! Back aches from Hell”

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Nightmare experience will never use this company again!! Spent close to £2000 on Dreams gimmick 'Sleepmatch' Hyde and Sleep range only to be left with continual issues with both the bed base and mattresses. Omg, I feel your pain, I'm going through this same issue, so far I've had an ongoing case now for 8 months nearly. Raised to the furniture ombudsman too (lock down hasn't helped resolve the time).
The Hyde and sleep mattress is the worst, wish I didn't bother. Both myself and my partner are suffering with bad backs, we also had a cocky homeserve guy come to inspect it. He lay down and took a picture of his feet to prove he lay down, not to test the dipping or the mountain in the middle of the bed, he got up. It's not a true test of comfort a lay down for a photo, utterly ridiculous, I was fuming.
Its funny when I purchased this mattress and base there was a 10 year guarantee with it, since my purchase, its been reduced, clearly dreams don't have any faith in their own products they can't offer it for 10 years anymore as its a pile of [email protected]@.
The ombudsman has rejected the case based on the cocky homeserve inspector, sounds like a back hander by dreams and an overload of complaints.
I wish I had known about the absolute crappy quality, I'd have never wasted my money.
DON'T BUY ONE...... EVER!!!!

Wow thanks so much for sharing, we feel like we have been literally lost hundreds of pounds we work hard for. The mattress is horrific and we have to pile up blankets underneath the mattress and on top to make it a tiny bit more comfortable which is utter madness. Never again!!!!

Bought a Jakarta single bed from Dreams on 25th July 2019. Bed arrived on the 1st August and put together fine, although I noticed the wooden slats seemed really weak and bendy compared to other slat beds we have had? Also the plastic connectors that attach the slats to the frame were extremely soft plastic and I thought they wouldn't last long. Little did I know! If you're thinking of buying here… If you're thinking of buying here ..DONT!. Their expensive extended guarantee is worthless. Never again, ordered a pillow for delivery at nearly £50. The delivery courier Hermes who 9 out of 10 times deliver to the same road and number but different area 5 miles away had me waiting in all day for nothing and late at night get emailed saying they tried to deliver but was not in. “Don't even think about buying from this place!!!”

It lasted less than 13 months before i had to buy a new one from another shop. A blind monkey could have flung this bed together VERY poor. The in-store service at Morden was fine, but I had to correct the saleswoman about the mattress we had selected. Wish I had read this review before buying new mattress, wrong one sent sleeping in chair it’s that firm, no give. Got offered a good will gesture not got it yet we have to wait for exchange so they don’t get cheated Ha that’s a good one. I would like to know why they lie though as we were told 4 days for refund then 14 now 4 weeks.

My dreams fabric day bed is now dismantled and in the shed. The slats fell through with adult visitors sitting in it and I rang to complain. They told me someone from the manufacturers would come and insect it. A few days later a load of slats came in the post with no letter or note. I bought it in January and it is now in the shed. I bought bunk beds for my children. The wrong parts were delivered so I ended up having one bunk and not the other bunk. This resulted in one of my children sleeping in my bed while I await the error to be rectified. I purchased this bed and after some time it start making squeaky noise. I contacted them and they sent engineer to fix the bed. I observed that the screws got loose as it was poor chipboard quality. After some time the problem started again. The engineer came and wrote a report which says its is not manufacture fault. I am surprised that if this is not manufacture fault then what it is. In March 2017 we purchased a bed from the Hull store and it was a fiasco from beginning to returning of the bed. In May I put this in writing, in great detail, to the CEO and never heard a word back. It was recorded delivery and we have proof of that delivery. We did receive the full refund with no letter. Visited Dumfries store today. 2 members of staff and one showed us a few beds.narrowed it down and picked one.were left to choose a headboard. Once chosen we looked for staff member and they were sitting on piece of furniture on mobile phone.they saw us looking and moved to other end of store still on phone.
