BEWARE - REFUNDS GIVEN WITH A 20% CANCELLATION CHARGE. I.E. YOU ONLY GET 80% OF THE COST REFUNDED (unless the items are damaged!) Even when packages are unopened. Wanted to return 2 x Headboards as they are too big for the room and the colour does not match the Divan colour. The Salesman did not make us aware of the cancellation Charge when we purchased. DO NOT BUY AN IGEL BED/MATTRESS OR ANY FURNITURE FROM THIS SHOP - TOTALLY MISLEADING AND A WASTE OF MONEY I have rated this company as a 1 star only because I couldn’t rate it as zero stars. “AWFUL COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

We purchased the superking legend multimedia bed with igel mattress and 2 pillows in September 2018. First just the mattress and pillows turn up Jan 2019, no trace of the bed. Then 2 weeks later the whole order turns up. Boxes damaged mattress open and stained. Amp didn't work so we had no sound from the bed just from the TV. A warning to future customers. when visiting the store to view beds, furniture and you are not decided on purchasing an item right away. Please refrain from accepting their offer to print off the details of the item you are looking at but not ready to buy. A printed quote constitute a contract and just browsing in their store denotes you agree and accept their terms and conditions even though you do not know what these are and you are not informed. “Pointless Guarantee”

Bed has broken in multiple places and Bensons claiming it is not covered by guarantee. Dreadful customer service it took over three months to get them to respond and then they just claim there is no manufacturing fault although the bed frame has broken in a number of places with the same problem. Having ordered a bed-frame which was delivered on time, I put the bed together to realise the USB ports were loose and not working correctly. I called the customer service line to be advised the waiting time was 87 minutes. This in itself is absolutely ridiculous so I obviously did not wait on hold for that amount of time. OMG!! Great when I bought the mattress in store, no problems, but it hasn't arrived when promised. OK, so this kind of thing happens all the time, no biggie, but just you try to get through to any of the 'help' lines provided. Really helpful staff at Bensons for Beds in Torquay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff member I spent time with, telling her what I was looking for. My bed arrived when arranged, very helpful guys who delivered it. I am extremely happy with my bed, it is so comfortable. If I could give them Zero stars I would!! We ordered a bed and mattress back in August (which together cost over £2500). When the delivery came in October- they brought the wrong mattress, which we immediately sent back, and a double bed frame rather than a king. When we enquired about it, we were told we had ordered a double bed frame! Made no sense as we ordered a king mattress (the guy who we had ordered from had made a stupid mistake)! I wouldn't bother buying from this company. We paid over £2k for a new bed and mattress in Nov, they delivered a faulty bed base. It took 4 weeks for them to organise a visit to swap out the fault item. On the morning of them coming out they rang to say the item wasn't ready and they wouldn't be coming. Thanks Benson for Beds that cost me a days work as I'm self employed not that you'd give a flying F about it. I bought firm mattress and bed 3 years ago from benson beds with 5 years warranty. With clearly following instructions to keep rotating the mattress started feeling back pain and realised there is a clear dip on the mattress. I complained and they sent a technician who accepted that the mattress has gone soft but it’s ‘natural’ in 3 years. Based on his comments benson said that they can’t do anything. If I could give a zero I would. Ordered bedroom furniture in June 18 for my elderly disabled sister. Furniture arrived damaged. Raised matter with Store Manager at White City Manchester. I mentioned how helpful the sales assistant had been. The sales assistant had raised this matter with his regional manager however this did not expedite matters. We ordered a bedroom set in May this year and after 3 damaged deliveries of a headboard and missing side table this company finally send us on thr 4th attempt an acceptable headboard which was not even perfect nearly 6 months after and offer £25 compensation on a £1500 set!!
