“Restricted payment options”

I ordered a bed last week and paid the deposit with cash, I checked with the salesman that I could pay the balance by bank transfer and he told me the bank details were on the paperwork, that was not the case contacts customer services who advised you cannot pay by bank transfer. Rang the shop to pay the balance by debit card and told I have to go there to pay by Chip and Pin how outdated and inconvenient the shop is not near and I need to pay tonight now to get delivery. “Awful mattress, shocking after-sales”

We wanted a mattress that wouldn't be too hot. We discussed this at length with the salesperson. Ended up with the Monaco Pocket Sprung Mattress. Two hours into the first night, I was BOILING. Lying on this mattress was like curling up on a hot radiator. I gave up and retreated into the spare room and was fine. I called the next day to see about a refund. On 26/8/17 I ordered £3500 worth of furniture from Bensons for Beds Gateshead. on 14th October (10 days before it was due for delivery) they informed me they had made an error in the warehouse and could not fulfil the order (for 22 customers). We bought our mattress in April 2016. The sale people in store were helpful & knowledgeable. We spent allot of time & many trips ensuring we bought the right mattress for us. The mattress originally was comfortable till...after a year of having the mattress (with good care, rotating etc) it has become indented and very uncomfortable. After waiting for nearly 3 weeks for delivery of my new bed I received a text confirming my delivery between 7am and 1pm so as instructed cleared the bedroom of my old bed ready for delivery only to find just a bed frame with no mattress on the lorry. I brought my Mirabel wardrobe from Bensons in June 2017. Wardrobe arrived on time am. the fitters arrived early afternoon, after 10 minutes they told me that the fixing screw kit to assembled the wardrobe together is missing and could mot be assembled. I purchased a Morena wardrobe which, to be fair, looks nice but be warned that the rails are not nearly strong enough. They bent almost immediately and one of them has now given way completely. Customer Services took over 3 weeks (with various emails) to finally inform me that they would not replace these rails (I've now had the wardrobe nearly 2 years but have not yet finished paying for it!) and that their charge for a replacement is £23!!!!!! “Terrible Service - Wrong Mattress”

I ordered a £800 mattress (a none odour mattress) last year September 2016. There is a 40 days grace for trialing a mattress, within which period you can change for another mattress for a further 10% charge. We bought a TV bed from benson beds and payed extra for a Tv as we thought it would be the best thing to do as we wanted it to fit perfect but when the Bed turned up there was on tv so we reported this and had to wait for two weeks for delivery of it . Worst experience from hell! They messed us around so much we landed up after 2.5 months cancelling our entire order, they didn't show up for deliveries twice! DO NOT USE... I was lied to by the Store (Exeter) and told if the mattress I bought was not comfortable then I could have the mattress replaced as part of their 'Comfort Guarantee'...they did this once but refused to allow me to do this again even though the Store rep told me I could...I ended up spending over £1100 on a mattress that is really UNCOMFORTABLE.... Purchased a bed in Middlebrook Bolton Store and was NOT told it was self assembly even after spending £800 on a bed but they would send someone out at a cost of £60 to assemble it the manager told me when I complained. I needed to change my mattress so went to the shop. It has three sales people but they were not very interested in helpin me. They were very nice people but I needed more help on finding a good mattress for me. Only one man came to help but then left me after showing me King size mattress. This company has no regard whatsoever for their loyal customers and will take every opportunity to make more money out of them. I was quoted a price for the exchange of two beds under their 40 day sleep guarantee programme. I asked them to confirm that this was the total price for the exchange which they did. We bought ottoman bed and mattresses. We did the order in store and this one star going to store assistant who was helpful and helped with order. The rest was terrible. We waited our bed three weeks and were excited. But the day it arrived-it ruined all the mood. Based on persistent advise from the sales staff in store, I splashed out and purchased a Tempur 'Cloud' memory foam mattress at close on £1500. I run hot and specifically said I had heard memory foam didn't breathe well and was hot to sleep on.
