Magnet Kitchen designed and fitted by magnet (Winchester Sage) Eventually happy with the design. (Changed our minds a few times). Though we did most of the designing ourselves magnet just supplied the pretty pictures and drawings. Overall we are happy with the install. though the little things mean the most. Like finishing of the edges putting the door pads on were not well adhered to. Once they have your money I don't think they actually care. Nice product, Shame about the fitters and service. Nearly 4 months after they started im still chasing for the final bits. For what should have been a joy to show off as one of the biggest expenses you'll have after buying your house sadly it is a stressful disappointment. I would never recommend it to a friend. My Magnet kitchen was installed in March, by their High Wycome branch, but although the products are lovely, I cannot recommend their installation service. The installer worked very hard, and was knowledgeable, but the extreme time pressures under which he worked made it a less than smooth experience. “Measure your kitchen!”

Good: nice units,initial good advice, reasonable discount Bad: 1,please please please make sure that you or your fitter check your kitchen's measurements as the Magnet advisor measured it too small and it caused all sorts of issues which resulted in our fitter leaving the job and having to wait nine days for the new ones to start. “Problems with Appliances”

We had a wall knocked down to extend the kitchen and used existing units and purchsed new ones. We changed the oven, hob and extractor purchasing new ones from magnet...big mistake we should have got these elsewhere as Magnet have a service level agreement with Zanussi which means if anything is wrong with them they come out to repair them. I'm pleased with the units but the fitting I'm not. I have had issues with the fitters who have left the company. The fitting of my washer and dish washer are too tight. The fitting cut my plug of my washing machine and when fixed was not a proper connection. “Broken promises ”

After 40 years I was allowed to buy my first new kitchen. Magnet had a sale, so we talked to the rep who was very helpful...BUT very pushy trying to make us buy top of range stuff. Eventually paid £13,500 when the basic kitchen units at half price were £6,000. Delivery was OK, but when the fitter checked, 1 bit was wrong so had to be reordered. “Great kitchen, extremely poor after service”

Great quality kitchen and great delivery service, kitchen came incomplete and with wrongly ordered parts, had a nightmare trying to get it rectified and new parts ordered, Magnet would are very poor at returning my phone calls even when calling past the shop and leaving messages. Despite a lead time of about 2 months it was not possible for magnet to deliver the right items at the right time. Our excellent builder was tearing his hair out with them. This is obviously a common problem with Magnet (as is so many more!). We purchased a kitchen from Magnet, along with all appliances, worktops and fitting! Not one single thing went right. They ordered incorrect appliances, worktops promised were all wrong. Kitchen started to go in, wrong cupboards and housings turned up. Kitchen fitters fitted doors on wrong, oven housing units wrong way round (even though plan was fixed to the wall), we were without hobb, sink, taps, washing machine etc. for over a month. We are still awaiting kitchen to be finished - over 2 months, but they do not answer or return our calls. We are now being told it's their busiest time of the year !! So they are busy taking orders from new or potential customers and not looking after the customers that have already paid their money IN FULL !

“Sort yourselves out Magnet”

We bought the full service from magnet, complete kitchen with appliances. Service in shop was not pushy Fitter very good. mind you when you are charged over £2,000.00 for one fitter to complete the job in two and a half days, you expect that. My main problem is that when you have fully paid for your kitchen & asked for a VAT invoice in July WHY AM I STILL WAITING FOT A VAT INVOICE in mid September. Countless phone calls and still no JOY. Magnet Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

We thought we'd treat ourselves to a new kitchen. We looked at various suppliers, and Magnet seemed ok.
Kitchen is really lovely, really pleased with it. The fitter was very good also. He was always on time, he cleaned up every day, and he got the job done in the time expected.
The salesman/designer was helpful too.
