Be Aware When Applying For This Card

Just to worn everyone that if you want to keep a good credit score then don’t apply for this card. I applied after doing a search on Money supermarket after filling in a few details it came back with a 80% chance of acceptance I then clicked the link to the Asda card website I then filled all my details in and clicked the button to see if I would be accepted at this point it did some sort of credit check on me and a reply of you will be accepted but we need a few more details this was my sort code and bank account no and if I wanted to add another card holder which I said no to I ticked the box to sign my application and clicked the apply button being confident Id be accepted to my horror I was declined no res ion given so I thought Id look at my credit scores on all three credit ref both equiax and exsperian have me down as excellent but callcredit have me down as 3/5 but who really cares about Callcredit but what I did notice was that creation finance had done 9 different soft searchers all the same day and I have 2 hard searchers in 2 days on my exspirian credit score Iv lost 38 points which as put me just under the excellent mark surly this company don’t need to do so meany searchers they know what affect it as on peoples credit history/score. So after looking at all my credit reports I thought Id ring creation finance and ask why Id been declined the guy I spoke to was about as clued up as a carrot he hadent a clue and kept saying all I can say is check your credit score I replyed Id already done that at this point I was getting a bit p sst off as I was getting no where. I did say at one point I think that the truth of all this as nothing yo do with my credit score but is more down to the fact that I pay all my other credit cards off so no one makes any interest on me guess what happened he put the phone down so be warned if they cant make money on you then they don’t want you don’t be fooled with these so called Check to see if you l be accepted before applying because they only check Callcredit until you go on to do a full credit application

The Worst Customer Service Of Any Card

We signed up for the ASDA credit card after being tempted by the interest rate and the benefit of collecting ASDA credits,we set up to pay in full every month by direct debit however we soon found out that they were taking double what was owed every month we then had to call their call centre in India to demand our money back this equated to hundreds of pounds.

We decided to stop using the card but keep it live for emergencies, i used it last week and thought i will pay the balance in branch (Santander) by cash to minimise the risk of being ripped off again, so i called the number on the back of the card got through to India again and they said you can go to any Santander branch or ASDA store and pay in cash.

My local Santander branch refused to take the payment and said it was not possible, so i went to my local ASDA and they said the same even the store manager stated that "if you can we dont know how to"

ABSOLUTE JOKE DONT GET THIS CARD !!!!!!!!!

The way the card works, your credit limit needs to be high enough to cover 6 weeks' shopping - this was never made clear.

I Have Had An Asda Store Card Since It Was Introd

I have had an Asda Store card since it was introduced and always paid the full balance by direct debit every month. My November balance was paid as normal and a week after the payment was paid I received a £12 late payment charge. On enquiry I was told not to worry about it as it was a mistake and every customer had received this charge on the 23rd Nov they sent a letter stating that the payment had been repaid to my bank, on the 29th they took the late payment charge.

The offending bank who run this card is Santander,not abank that fills one with a sense of security and by the tone of the default notice not nice people at all.

I Like This Card,but Would Advise You Only Use It

I like this card,but would advise you only use it if you can pay the balance in full when you receive your statement, as I found the interest to be rather high.

I Have Been Waiting For A New Card For A Month, Af

I have been waiting for a new card for a month, after make 5 phone calls over a month witch cost me money, getting told my card was been sent every time and i will get a call back none of witch happened i have told them to keep the card, i am not happy with the way they deal with this problem and i wont be getting a card for asda again.

Unsatisfied with their level of customer service skills..so called call centre Manager wouldn't escalate my query even though i made it very clear to him that i have a valid claim pointing out relevant statements!!! apparently, when you set-up a direct debit to automatically pay your minmum card balance, if you make a partial mannual payement towards your balance with a gap more than two days from the due date, the min payement will be suppressed!! all this would've been fine if it was mentioned or documented on terms and conditions and the fact that he weren't presistent of what his saying, at 1st he said 4 days when i pointed that this is my case, he changed his claim to two!!! My advice, unless you are desperate and you shop at Asda, keep away.

The Call Centre Seems To Take No Notice And Ignore

The call centre seems to take no notice and ignores requests to cancel card and any associated insurances.

Very poor service that ignore the consumer credit act when it is not convenient for them.

I Recently Received My Asda Reward Card.try Going

I recently received my asda reward card.Try going on line to manage your account,ajoke ihave put the correct account no. in countless times,keep geting told wrong account no. I spent 20 minutes on phone,even spoke tosomeone,who told me he has re-set account and would e-mail password.Nothing has arrived from asda on my e-mail address.It is also very hard to understand call centre staff,who speak very poor English.I would not reccomend this card to anyone.Long wait on telephone with no results.
